Juno is the twin brother of balto. He was born to aniu and an unknown dog. When they were separated as pups he stated balto and they lived together in the boat. He like his brother was teased for being half wolf. Juno and his brother are very close. He is more wolflike than his brother Balto.  He had always felt like he belonged more with wolves than the dogs in Nome. When his brother  decided to risk his life to get the medicine for the kids of Nome. He was worried but he agreed with his brother’s decision. After his brother came back was deemed a hero from the town. He was treated better but he still felt like he was out of place. Some of the dogs still treated him badly and would fight him on an regular basis.  Steele would still find every opportunity to fight with Juno or tease him.  Balto tried to see if Juno would like to learn how to be a sled dog but he still felt out of place. When his nieces and nephews were born. He grew close with Aleu since they were both more wolf than dog and after he had learned from Balto that Aleu had joined a wolf pack.  He realized that he would like to join her wolf pack and that he would raise his brother often and that they would still remain close. After that he went to join her wolf pack.
