Name: Mona
Species: Gray Wolf
Parents: Unknown
Siblings: Unknown
Love Interest: Samuel
Personality:
Mona is a sarcastic and independent wolf, she hates to rely on others. Even when she used to live in a pack she would usually be alone and would avoid any contact with anyone. Some members of her former pack would describe her as rude and maybe a little aggressive. She is inpatient and very intolerant with slow animals. Despite everything, she is trying to act a little nicer after she met Samuel.
Story:
Not much is known about Mona's birth, but it's known she was neglected by her parents, it made her resent any kind of relationship while growing up, she thought she would never really be loved. With time she started to close herself from others, and every time someone tried to approach her she would snarl at them.
All grown up now, Mona decided that the life in a pack wasn't for her, so she just left. She took some time to learn how to live by herself, but in the end she managed it pretty well. Mona traveled through the Alaskan tundra, taking a break here or there, until she made a stop at the forest around Nome. It was quiet and peaceful, the way she liked, or só she thought.
Wandering through the trees and bushes, Mona had an unfortunate encounter with a hunter. The man shot, but Mona was able to avoid it. She ran away, but the hunter trailed after her, she then made the mistake of looking backwards and not seeing the cliff that was ahead of her. She rolled down the cliff, colliding with rocks and landing on some bushes. The hunter looked down the cliff, but didn't saw the gray wolf, so he gave up.
Mona, now wounded, got off the bushes and tried to walk, but soon collapsed on the ground, and there she stayed.
She was very weak when she saw a male canine approaching. She tried to stand and grow at him, but she couldn't. The male offered to help her, and introduced himself as Samuel. At first, Mona declined the offer, saying she wouldn't need help from a dog, but as Samuel insisted, she accepted due to the fact she was really hurting.
Samuel took Mona to the boat where his uncle, Balto, lived. Balto welcomed them both and let her stay there until she got better. In the beginning Mona was very aggressive towards them, but as the time passed by, she began liking their company, especially from Samuel's. Once fully recovered, Mona was ready to run into the forest, but something held her back, she grew very fond of Samuel and didn't wanted to leave him. So Mona decided to settle in the woods next to Nome. She and Samuel would hang out almost every day.
Relation with Balto: she met Balto and he allowed her to stay in his boat until she was fully recovered.
