History:
Alasie grew up in a small inuit tribe near Nome. Her entire childhood she grew up a long side a wolf name Takuma. Takuma always protected Alasie and her brother Kallik. When Alasie was twelve years old Takuma passed away of old age. It was that same harsh winter that her father was attacked and killed by a mad wolf. After the tribes hunters killed the wolf she went to the dead wolf and took out one of his fangs. She kept his fang as a trophy. Alasie vowed to never trust a wolf again after this happened.
About a year later when Alasie was 13 she found a small white wolf pup while hunting. She was weary at first of the pup, but her heart softened almost instantly when she saw how undernourished she was. She took the wolf home to her tribe and named her Aniu (meaning snow). Alasie raised Aniu until she was a year and a half old. At that time Aniu left the tribe and only returned occassionally for brief visits. It is unknown what happened to her after that.
Just a year and a half later when Alasie was 16, her younger brother had died from the diptheria outreak. After this devistating event, she packed her things and moved to the closest civilation the city of Nome, Alaska.
RTB: Raised Aniu.
