Designed by and adopted from my dear friend Sierra, thank you so much!
Name: Leonardo (Leo for short)
Breed: Husky / Alaskan malamute mix
Gender: Male
Siblings: Percy and Athena (first litter), Ray and Willow (second litter)
Mate: Juliette
Pups: None
--------------------------------
Personality: Leo is a very shy and timid dog, and like his mother he can even be a little scared at times, especially when dealing with change and new situations, but he's still probably the friendliest person you'll ever meet; he never looks at anyone in the bad way and always tries to see good in everyone even when others might not. He doesn't like conflicts, as they make him uncomfortable, and so he tries to avoid them as much as possible and pretty much just agrees with others, even if he actually didn't, but to keep up peace, he just nods and stays quiet.
Likes: His family, Juliette, winter and spring, spending time with his siblings.
Dislikes: Conflicts, arguing, displeasing his father, seeing his mother upset.
------------------------------------
Story: Leonarno, or Leo for short, was the second oldest in Steele and Reimi's second litter. He was always the shy and timid one, and the mommy's boy, who preferred the company of his mother instead of going out and about and playing with his siblings. He did have a close bond with his sister Willow though, and he and Ray were very protective towards her. As they were growing up, Leo was always sort of overshadowed by Ray in front of their father, who saw potential in him and started training him to be a follower to his legacy. Leo worried that Steele might favor Ray because he was bigger, stronger and braver than him, but still supported his brother's dream in becoming a sled dog. As they were all grown up, trouble started brewing when Willow met Aku, the brother of Balto whom their father had grudges with from a long time ago. Steele was furious when he discovered the truth, and while Leo himself didn't have anything personal against Aku, he found himself in a difficult situation: Should he either stand up to his sister who was happy and in love, or take sides with their father who hated anyone or anything that had something to do with Balto? Finally, in fear of being rejected by Steele again, Leo took sides with him and tried to get Willow to stop seeing Aku, but it was pointless. One day, after once again being roared with insults by his father, the upset Leo wandered alone on the beach, when he was suddenly approached by a female wolfdog, who wanted to know if he was alright. Leo was rather surprised by this, and hesitant at first about opening up to a complete stranger, but soon enough he relaxed, and found himself feeling quite comfortable around the stranger, who introduced herself as Juliette. Leo and Juliette got to talking, and after spending some time with her, Leo found himself enjoying her company quite a lot. The thing was, however... he was falling in love with her. And Leo knew that problems would arise once his family found out, which of course it did. When Willow found out, she confronted Leo and called him a hypocrite, for trying to stop her from seeing Aku. All of this caused a great deal of stress on Leo, and he faced a tough decision: should he give up on the girl he loved, or finally grow a spine and stand up to his father? Finally, with the support from Juliette, Leo managed to build up the courage to choose the latter, and spoke his mind, and much to his surprise, Steele was impressed, and even proud of him, and finally said it out loud, even giving his blessing to Leo and Juliette.
Relation to Balto: Steele's son.
