History:

Sérago was bred to do one thing, be the next owner of the golden collar. Sérago began to train when he was only eight weeks old, his father Sitka teaching him the ways of the sled dog. Sitka's musher quickly choose to keep Sérago out of the litter he had bred, as he was the largest and smartest of all four pups. Sérago formed a deep bond with his musher and quickly advanced in his mushing career. By the time he was six months old, Sérago was helping the team win dog sled races right alongside his father, the lead dog.

When Sitka retired at the age of 11 years old it was time for Sérago to step up to be a lead dog, in his first year of being lead dog Sérago earned the golden collar. He greatly valued his team and would do anything to keep things running smoothly.

Sérago worked successfully for many years until he was six years old and was in a mushing accident leaving himself half-blind. After the accident Sérago became depressed and lost his drive to race, he also lost the title of the golden collar. Sérago could no longer race but decided to put his knowledge to use.

He soon met Steele, a puppy from the musher's newest litter, and decided to pass on his knowledge to him. Before long Steele became an amazing sled dog winning the golden collar himself, Sérago was proud of him and all he accomplished. Later in life Sérago met Steele's daughter Sheila and trained her just like he had trained her father.
