Elias was the first born pup in Aurora's litter. As a puppy he was very happy and athletic, loved running and playing with his siblings whom he was always very close with. Their youngest brother, Balto, was somewhat the runt of the bunch, and he quicly became a target of bullying among other dogs in the town, but Elias always stood up for him and defended him against the bullies.

Since they were puppies, Elias and Balto both dreamed of becoming sled dogs. Never did Elias realize though, that his dream would actually come true: He was adopted by a young musher who started training him, and soon became aware of his skills and motivation, and when he was 1 year old, he was accepted to the local mail team.

Elias's father, a grey wolf by the name of Amaruq died before he and his siblings were born, and his mother never really spoke of him. It wasn't until he was a grown up that he learned the truth about his father and their heritage, and while he was shocked at first to learn that his father was a wolf, he accepted it pretty soon and wished that he had gotten to know him. Being a son of a wolf didn't really bother him all that much, and it wasn't like it could be seen all that clearly, except in his scruffy appearance and lowered, uncurly tail. Fortunately, all of this never stood in the way of Elias successfully proceeding in his career and eventually being promoted as lead dog of the mail team.

One day, as he returned from a mail run, Balto challenged him to a race around town, and whilst running he wasn't watching where he was going, thus bumping into a beautiful female dog. The moment was very awkvard, but she just smiled and introduced herself as Soraya. After the incident, ELias found himself thinkinhg about her day and night, and was always pleased to see her waiting for him when he and the team returned from their mail runs. Eventually, they became mates, and some time later Soraya told him she was expecting his pups. At first, Elias panicked: he had no idea about being a father and whether he was going to be a good one at all, but when the day came that Sora gave birth to three beautiful and healthy pups, Eli looked at his new born sons and felt like the happiest dog on earth, swearing he would do anything for his sons and would always protect them, being the best possible father he could be.
