Personality: Veniamin loves being the alpha and feeling in control of everything. He’s usually quite composed – to his pack members, at least. He doesn’t like showing his feelings around the others because his pack is mostly males. He can’t stand being ignored, yet will ignore the advice of others. Veniamin is rather anti-social and tends to get annoyed and snap at them a bit.

Veniamin was born to Katerine and Nava in a litter of four. His litter included his brother Innokentiy, and two sisters Maiara and Karina. Innokentiy died a few hours after birth. His pack was already en route to moving to America to escape being driven out of their territory by bigger wolf packs. Maiara was killed while they were travelling to the eastern-most part of Russia by an enemy wolf. Karina and Veniamin became close, but she fell ill and died before the pack reached their next way-point, the most eastern tip of Russia. The pack began crossing the gap between far-Eastern Russia and Alaska in fall. On the way Katerine and Nava adopted an abandoned pup 3 months than Veniamin, whom was called Niju. Niju became Veniamin’s adopted brother, but Veniamin didn’t trust him much. Katerine was weakening to an illness she had caught and having to cater for the two pups, but she insisted that they keep up the pace or they would never make it to Alaska in time before the thick ice over the ocean melted. Worn down by exhaustion, Katerine died. Niju and Veniamin’s relationship deteriorated, Veniamin blamed the stress of Niju coming into Katerine’s life as the reason she had died. They managed to make it to Alaska in early spring.

Niju competed against Veniamin for Nava’s attention. He wanted to be treated by Nava as Katerine had treated him – like her own son. Veniamin began crushing on a wolf in his pack named Gala, one of the few females left in his pack. Eventually however Gala got sick of him wanting to be overly-controlling.

Veniamin befriended a lemon dog from the local town of Wales named Nadine. They courted for a long while, and Veniamin fell in love with her. He was even going to ask her to join the pack, but she didn’t feel as strongly for him, and eventually left him for another dog in town. He was deeply hurt by this, and decided to not trust a dog again.
