History
Born in another litter of Steele's, he had a few siblings, and was adopted off to a musher to be a racing sled dog. At a young age he wanted to prove he could be a good leader unlike his father. So he worked hard for what he had.
When he was a teen, he accidentally fumbled into Dingo, kissing him on impact. Kenan was embarrassed, but covered his own humiliation by laughing it off, giving Dingo the impression that Kenan wasn't humiliated. This started a long rivalry between the two, where Dingo would challenge Kenan to competitions to embarrass Kenan, often leading to Dingo being the foolish one.
The two ended up on the same team together, and ended up dueling for the lead dog position. When Dingo was given his chance to be lead dog, he nearly drowned the entire team while crossing thin ice. Kenan naturally saved his rival, and ended up confronting Dingo for his stupidity. After realizing that Dingo's resentment for Ken is misplaced, Ken admits to Dingo that he too wants to overcome a shadow cast upon him. The only difference is, Ken is fighting to break the image of his father that is often projected onto him.
So a new, healthier relationship is begun between Dingo and Kenan, resulting in a bond that is the strongest of friendships. When tested, Ken and Dingo have proven to be loyal like brothers to one another.
