Owner: Alasie and her brother
Parents: Jenna and Balto (1/4 Wolf)
Sibilings: Kodi, Aleu, Dingo, two other pups

Breed: WolfDog mix

Build: A slightly skinnier build than her mother, Jenna, and with a somewhat curved back like her father, Saba still has a broad chest and shoulders like her mother, and a more shaggy fur. Some distingushing features include a leather brown collar and shaggy fluffy fur.
Personality: Saba is curious and eager to please anyone she meets. She can't help being a little playful and carefree, despite her shy temperament, however she takes comments to heart and can find herself in a quiet, weary mood from time to time. However, a gentle touch can perk up her spirits easily. She also works very well with humans, especially children, despite her rough occupation.
History:
The most curious of Balto and Jenna's 6 children, Saba was easily the most friendly and adaptable of the bunch. Saba was the second of the pups from Balto and Jenna's litter to be adopted, by a young Inuit girl named Alasie (a form of the name 'Alice') , who lived on the outskirts of Nome with her older brother and elderly father. Alasie's father later moved away to a more rural Inuit settlement, leaving the siblings on there own. Saba grew up in a homely environment, a small aged house with a fire outside of the home used for warmth during the bitter cold months.
Saba spent her first year of her life wandering the rugged area around Nome, playing with her girl, and taking a chance to go into town with her and see her father and mother, along with her siblings at least once a month.
When she was close to one and a half years of age, Alasie's older brother took to training her to be a hunting dog, which she found enjoyable (it would turn out, however, that the older brother happened to be the hunter that took a shot at Aleu). By age 5, Saba was out hunting with her girl, now 16, and her older brother, often running into Kodi and Balto in her journeys, and sometimes even wolves.
Unlike her brothers and sisters, who maintained simple house lives or jobs in Nome, Saba enjoys the rugged terrain of White mountain and the forests of Alaska, and the thrill and pride of hunting. Spending the hunting season and colder months traveling through the coast and wilderness of Alaska, and returning home in warmer months to sell off furs and meat, suites Saba just fine, and in the warmer months she is able to reconnect with her loved ones and even spend some time playing with other dogs. After her first hunting season, with a pile of furs and good meat in hand, Alasie was able to buy Saba a nice leather collar from the carpenter, along with a nice wooden dog house. Every night, Saba would sleep under the stars, sometimes in the lap of her girl, and dream of the wilderness that eluded her.
