Personality:

She can come off hot headed and aggressive. This is simply because she is very blunt, and backing down has never been easy for her. She doesn't think before she speaks at times, so this can get her into trouble. She says what she thinks, and doesn't normally care what others may think of this. Though often teased, she's pretty open and trusting, ready to make friends at any turn. She's a trouble maker, always looking for new adventures, and new people to bother. But she is also very determined and focused. That trouble maker side is gone once she get's a harness on. She's very caring, but often afraid to let it show, so it could take awhile for her to warm up to you in that way. Not easily impressed.
 

History:

Hitaro is the granddaughter of Togo, the true hero. She has a proud heritage of selective breeding that she isn't afraid to brag about. But she doesn't. Most know of her bloodline and that's good enough for her. Though most have forgotten about her grandfather since it was Balto who was in the spot light. She always held some distain for Balto because of this, but she cannot deny the fact that he helped saved all those kids as well. Some even dare to laugh at her for this. Fools.

She was born from a litter of 3. Her owner saw something in her he didn't see in her brothers, for she was kept and her brothers sold. It was clear that at an early age she took after Togo. She would taunt the other dogs in their kennel, and often escape her own to wonder free. She always returned home though. She was trained early as a sled dog, and it was something she adored. She started as a team dog, then was moved up to swing dog, behind the leader. She hopes to be a lead dog in the future, but is willing to wait for it.

Hitaro is often teased by her team mates. Most of it is normally play, though at times it's hurtful. Hitaro is lean, and a bit more leggy than the rest of her team mates. She also has smaller, rounder ears, much resembling a wolf. Mutt, is what they like to call her. They assume she secretly has wolf blood in her due to these features, so they don't fully accept her. Even though she has the pedigree to prove other wise. Fights have broken out between the team, but nothing ever left to serious harm. 

When she was 8 months old she escaped her kennel to follow the sled team. She had encountered a mother bear who gave her some nice gashes on her right cheek. They have since healed and are barelly noticeable these days.
