Backstory: Born in Nome to unnamed Parents in a litter of 5, Reese grew up being the youngest as well as the runt. Being the youngest caused her to be teased often by her siblings, which has resulted her in her quiet and stubborn behaviour.
Once she was eight weeks of age, she was put up for adoption along with the rest of her siblings. As she reached 3 months, she was finally adopted by a mother and son who owned a team of other huskies and malamutes. Being an Akita, her build was not necessarily for sled pulling. After months of training, she was old enough to be on the sled team, earning her place as a swing.
One of the first friends she made was Steele, a rather bulky Malamute. He would help her train to be stronger and faster so she could keep up with the much older, stronger dogs. During one of their races, Reese noticed a rather peculiar looking dog. He was much more bulky than the average husky, and he had more wolf-like features. Bewildered by his exotic appearance, she decided to introduce herself after their race was done. The name of the mysterious wolf-dog was Balto.
Soon after meeting Balto, the two began to talk more and more, and Reese developed a crush on him. The feelings were mutual between them, but Balto nor Reese saught out the opprotunity to tell one another their true feelings. One day, after working up enough courage to express her feelings towards him, she saw him with another husky. Petrified of rejection, and of this mysterious female, she fled to Steele for a shoulder to cry on.
Moments after she confronted Steele about Balto and the female husky, she learned her name as Jenna. Also upon chatting with Steele, she found out Balto and Jenna have been seeing each other for quite some time. Heartbroken, Reese stopped connections with Balto and focused more on her career of a being a sled dog. Steele, looking after Reese as his younger sister, called Balto out on his actions. This is why he can be seen acting rather hasty around the wolf-dog from time to time.
Ever since Balto, Reese has become more independent and has been focusing on becoming stronger and faster in hopes of becomming a lead of the sled team. After a long time of dedication and work, Reese became the lead along with her best friend, Steele.
