Sage is complicated and misunderstood quite often. She is rarely found smiling, and is usually in her den drawing symbols in the dirt that she comes up with. Some would say she's usually depressed. It could very well be because she has no one to talk to and is afraid to put her trust in someone due to the fact that she was once in a relationship with someone and they stabbed her in the back. She has trust issues and is very anti-social. Sage hates large crowds and is not very confident in herself.

Likes: Being alone, the snow, music, the violin, dancing alone in the woods to music in her head, drawing with her paws in the dirt, being artistic, the moon

Dislikes: Large crowds, danger, being misunderstood, having no one like her, constantly being alone..ya know...sometimes it gets lonely.

History: Sage was very close to her parents who disappeared one day when she was about a year old. She found them motionless in the snow and came to the conclusion they died because of the bitter cold. She found her own den in the woods and stayed warm there. She grew up eating rabbits and taught herself to hunt and to fend for herself. She occasionally went to Nome to explore, but she usually stays in her den or around her den.

Sage got to know Aleu, who she had met in the middle of roaming in the woods. They never became close friends, in fact, they are arch enemies. Sage and Aleu didn't get along due to the fact that her old den was close to Aleu's pack's border. Sage teased and made fun of Aleu, while Aleu did the same to her. Sage then decided to move closer to her favorite city to explore, Nome.

One day Sage was dancing to music in her head she had heard from a violin down in Nome and tripped. She flipped over and clumsily got back up, seeing a male standing behind her looking at her in confusion. Sage started to flip out, due to her social anxiety, she had no idea what to say. She started to back away staring at him, but he started to speak.

"Hello there..." the male said calmly, "Name's Vladimir."

"S...S-Sage." Sage replied.

"Is that your name orrrr....?" 

"Y-yes..." She stuttered.

"Well nice to meet you, Sage." Vladimir smiled. 

That was strange, Sage had never seen a smile from anyone else, at least, none that were directed at her for awhile. Not since her parents were last alive...

"I uh...I don't know what to say. You see, I've never encountered anyone else. Well, at least anyone else that cared to talk to me." Sage said, hanging her head down.

"That's ok, you must get a little lonely out here. Want me to stop by more often?" Vladimir asked.

"S-sure. Um...I'm always near or in my den." Sage replied.

"Alright, see you later Sage. Have a good day." Vladimir said as he started to trot away.

"O-okay!" Sage yelped, causing Vladimir to jump, "S-sorry. Still getting used to talking..."

Vladimir chuckled and continued on his way. Sage blushed and went into her den.

Since that day, Sage and Vladimir met up in her den and took long walks together, talking and getting to know eachother. Sage ended up pouring her heart out to him, eventually admitting to him (after a long period of time) that she was in love with him, will he do the same?

During her exploration in Nome, she found a blue bandana lying in the snow. She looked ahead and saw that a sled dog team from another place was running off and forgot it there. She decided to keep it as a souvenir from Nome, unless of course...someone claims ownership. Sage has grown attached to its warmth and comfort, many tears and heartbreak have been shed on that bandana when she was upset.
