History: Mirage looked toward the den entrance. She wondered when the black she-wolf would return. She heard a quiet rustling at the den's entrance and jumped up to greet the black she-wolf, but the wolf that appeared was more of a brownish red. The wolf smiled at her and said, "I am your real mother, Auburn Sky, and your real name is Dark Moonlight.  I have come to save you from this imposter!" The new wolf picked her up by the scruff and quickly ran out of the den. She never saw the black she-wolf or tht den again.

Auburn Sky carried her for a long while before she set the pup down at a strange smelling den. "What's that awful smell?!" She squeaked. Auburn Sky just patiently smiled, "That, my dear pup, is the smell of the former resident. A fox." Dark Moonlight's eyes widened, "What's a fox?" Auburn Sky snarled, "A horribly vicious creature that comes along and tries to steal pups from their mothers and eat them! The creature that stole you was one of them. But don't worry, you're safe now." Dark Moonlight nodded and crawled into the den. Her mother curled up around her and soothingly licked her fur. Dark Moonlight soon drifted off to sleep.

She soon was awaken by her mother and was told to go outside. For ten minutes she sniffed around and smelled a stranger-wolf's scent. Then her mother bounded forward to greet a male wolf-dog dragging a caribou carcass. "Wow! You must have gotten the biggest one there!" Her mother howled. The male dragged a bowl shaped piece of bark over and let a white liquid pour into it. He looked to the pup and said, "Drink that. Dark Moonlight did what he told her and found the liquid to be quite delicious and slurped it down. She saw her mother lick the male's cheek. She then walked over to her. So that must be my daddy.***To be continued**
