History

History

Caesar and Nava were born in the same litter to the Alpha pair Chava and Anara.  Caesar was the smaller of the two.  Caesar and Nava stayed in the den in the beginning, and the two brothers yearned to go outside.  When they were old enough, Caesar loved to romp and play outside with Nava and his friends.  Every day at dawn Caesar and Nava would run out onto the ledge  the extended out over the see to watch the sun come up.  Chava and Anara were overjoyed about there growing pups, but Enva, the elder and spiritual leader of the Seaside pack, told the Alpha pair that the time was coming to select a pup that Chava and Anara would train to be the next alpha leader.  Enva consulted the spirits and the spirits and Enva agreed that Caesar would be the proper choice, for the spirits saw darkness in Nava’s heart.  That night Enva told Anara and Chava the verdict; that Caesar was to be the next leader.  However, Nava overheard.  Overcome with rage, Nava came up with a dark plan.  He came up with a way to become leader. The next night, Nava woke Caesar up and told him that they needed to talk.  Nava brought unknowing Caesar to the ledge, where Nava shoved Caesar over the edge of the ledge.  Caesar was holding on just with his front claws, and he begged Nava to help him, but Nava turned away.  Caesar couldn’t hold on any longer and he slipped, and fell to his death.  Caesar became a spirit guide for Maya (Balto’s sister). He appeared as a black caribou baby.  When Nava died, Caesar forgave him and allowed him to come live in the northern lights with the ancestors.
