Description
Name: Saba/Kiki
Name Origin: Her mother named her Saba after Sapah, Jenna's mother. When she was adopted her human family named her Kiki, but she is still known to dogs as Saba.
Gender: Female
Born: 1926
Parents: Balto and Jenna
Siblings: Allira/Nuni, Rogue/Rusty, Aleu, Border/Dingo, Cody/Kodiak. She is the third born.
Personality: Bright and bubbly, the best word to describe Saba would probably be 'spirited'. She's brave and determined but can be a bit of a doormat at times.
Likes: Her family, Maria, her team, her job... pretty much everything XD
Dislikes: Superiority complexes, quitters.
Fears: Losing those she cares about, sustaining heavy injuries, being held back by something.
Weakness: Her selflessness often does more harm than good.
Build/Genetics: Her head and face are structured like her mother (small muzzle, thick neck, etc.) but the rest of her body is more built like her dad (aside from her curly tail). Her face markings are identical to Jenna's. Her foreleg markings similar to Jenna's.Her back leg markings are a mix between Balto's and Jenna's.
History: Adopted by a family of four, Saba grew up in a house just outside of Nome. A dog, slightly older than herself, Maria, practically 'raised' her and treated her like a sister and a best friend. The two were pretty much inseparable, except for when Saba would do sled training. She was naturally fast and strong for her size but she trained almost every day. She was on the mail team at 9 months of age (this made Kodi a little jealous) but 5 months later a sort of 'talent scout' musher arrived and bought Saba from the the family. There, Saba left Nome on a boat, headed to Vancouver where she would face some of the toughest challenges of her life...
