Persona:
Likes: Making friends, things that can be seen as beautiful, being found useful
Dislikes: Himself and just about anything about him, noisy places
Loves:
Hates: Same as dislikes
Good traits: Friendly, sweet, easily approachable, reliable, gets along well with others, and very hopeful
Bad traits: Very low self esteem and at times compares himself to trash, very lonely and comes across as generally sad, awkward social skills, borderline insane
Personality in general: Nakito can always be seen with a smile on his face. He comes across as friendly and kind enough, but deep down has very low self esteem and feels very miserable about himself, often saying that he's no one special. He views himself as a waste compared to others, while he comes across as very encouraging and kind to anyone but himself. He can't stand if he isn't able to help others, to the point that it can and will cause him to snap. With his incredibly low "self depreciation", he is actually borderline insane, that being the disturbance in the views of himself.
How he expresses anger: He's generally very easygoing and not many things can upset him, unless it's referring to himself. In which case, he will immediately turn hostile and snap at whoever is speaking to him until he simply collapses from fatigue.
How he expresses sadness: Nakito doesn't generally get sad like anyone normally would; he bears an almost depressing aura at all times so it doesn't take too much to get him down. He is most unhappy when he isn't a helping hand.
How he expresses happiness: He will smile brightly and wag his tail, even talk excitedly. He tries to cover up everything about himself by coming across as always happy, always friendly.
How he expresses fear: Chokes on his own words and gasps as if he can't breathe or he's drowning. He'll curl up into an almost canine fetal position, laying as close to the ground as possible and rambling on, often about nothing.

History/Bio:
Nakito was born in a small town in Alaska known as Koniginganak, and the only pup of his litter. The others died only weeks old due to being too weak, and while Nakito was too just as weak as the rest, he was lucky enough to survive. His mother was thankful for this, but he was sold at a very young age to a man before he had anytime to learn how to grow up properly. He was a gift for the man's daughter, but after she whined and complained because he constantly yipped for her attention and care, the family got rid of Nakito, leaving him out in the streets. It didn't take long for someone to report a stray dog, being in such a small town, and a local pound took him in. They were kind and saw that the pup was malnutrioned, and took care of him as if he was their own. Nakito was frightened at first, but saw that they meant well and became friendly.
Months later, another man came into the pound looking for a dog. He wanted a dog strictly for breeding that would earn him as many trophies as it would for cash. Not caring about Nakito himself, the man greedily forked over enough to adopt him and proceeded the trip back to his hometown in Alaska. Nakito was afraid by the man's loud voice compared to the soft, kind voices at the pound, and wanted to desperately get away. However, along the way when they nearly reached his house, the truckbed that held Nakito's crate suddenly snapped from it's spot and sent Nakito flying out and into the road, only to tumble into the outskirts of town. Shaken, cold, and terrified, Nakito fled from his crate and huddled against the wall of a building from a safe distance, watching the people and dogs in confusion. After finally gaining a grip on reality, Nakito knew that he had to stay here- there was no way he'd make it miles back from his small city home. After a few days, he observed everyone from a distance and concluded that a majority of the dogs and people were very kind, save for a few, and he decided he could find a way to fit right in, too.
Nakito was reluctant to try and befriend the other dogs in town, but tried his best to come across as friendly. He distanced himself from other dogs who were strays like him, as he knew they were just as unfortunate as him. One night while trying to scrounge for food in some trash cans, the lid slipped from one and fell, creating a racket. A man stepped outside from his wood workshop, and took in the sight of the dog cowering underneath the tin lids. Chuckling softly, he took Nakito in as his own and gave him a warm place to stay within his workshop. He was lonely and Nakito was great company once the two warmed up to one another, and Nakito was finally happy to have a good life.
