Story: Yakone was the first born son to Balto and Jenna's litter. As a pup he was very social and loved playing with his siblings, but as they were reaching the age to be adopted, he started turning more distant from the other pups. He had got the most wolf genes in the litter, and the older he grew the more he acted like a wolf. Yakone and his sister Aleu were the only ones who didn't get adopted by humans, and stayed with their parents, or mostly with Balto. For some reason Yakone never really got along with Aleu, and as teens they constantly fighting, but he did have a close bond with his brother Kodi. Kodi was in fact his only siblings he kept in touch and met up with every once in a while, and was rather supportive of his new job as a mail dog. As they were reaching adulthood Yakone started getting more and more wolf like, and even his personality had changed from the sweet and playful pup into a solitary and sometimes rather unpredictable wolf dog. Balto and Jenna were actually a little worried about him, they feared he would forget about the love of their family and what's important, and that he'd give in to his wild heritage. However, Yakone soon discovered he liked watching over human children and felt rather protective towards them for some reason, but when the adults found him playing with them, they always chased him off, knowing he was "the wolf dog's pup", and feared he would harm their children. Balto sometimes took Yakone for long walks in the night, and they talked for hours, and he still had a close relationship with both his parents. Soon, Yakone befriended a female dog around his age named Haoywin, and her owner, a little girl who had trouble walking and who immidietally fell in love with Yakone and playing with him worked as excellent therapy for her. Whenever it was time for the girl to go inside and to bed, Yakone and Haoywin would go on walks together and could spend hours talking, and he found himself developing feelings for her, but was afraid to reveal them to her, due to still being insecure about his wolf side.
