History

How her parents met: Her father Skai was a log puller for a wood shop in town, Her mother a Pyearenese mix owned by an elderly lady named Claireese. They met when Night her mother was poking around the woodshed, attracted by the sweet smell of the freshly cut lumber. Her dad poked his head out to greet her and invited her inside because of the snow falling. They talked and talked all night. Eventually they became mates and Night became pregnant with her first litter.

Her puphood: Night had 4 pups. Three males and one female. Monali was that one female. Claireese gave her a green ribbon to wear through her puphood. Growing up with all brothers shaped Monali into a strong girl. Called Mimi by her mum and brothers. When it came time for adoption Mimi was last to be picked. The Butcher adopted her.

Adolecence: Now named Monali, she is the butcher's wifes dog. Maria is her name. Maria makes the runs to the hunters house to pick up the kills of the day. Maria already uses a older Malamute for this but begins to train Monali for the fact that Brutus is just way too old to keep doing this.

Now: Monali is now the sledpuller, Brutus has since passed on. She occasionally gets Teased by Kirby getting called a Slop hauler. Slop is the hooves, and other inedible parts of the animals the humans cant eat, this Slop is usually given to the dogs. Monali is friends with Saba and Paradox. She desprately wants to run so she sought out the two best tutors available. Steele and Balto. Balto teaches her endurance, he Races her on the beach and on gravel for resistance. Steele Teaches her form and speed. She Looks up to both of them in different ways. She Can tell theres friction between  Steele and his brother Paradox.

Training

Balto and Steele have made a decision to have a truce whilst mentoring younger dogs. Both having quite different skills. Steele having more strength and power, While Balto has Endurance and speed on his side. They, together, are taking Monali on as their first duel Apprentice. Mornings She works with Steele, due to it being a bit more rigorous. She hauls three 20 pound logs for 1 hour around Nome on a small sled. Steele teaches her how to build strength and to keep fit. Sort of like her own personal trainer. Balto however gets her at night. With balto they run from his boat to the edge of the woods. Running on sand is hard work doing this multiple times a day builds up strength just as if you were to wear sand weights on your ankles. He takes her into the mountians on weekends to work with inclines and declines. How to control her speed.
