History
Shesh was born to a retired sled dog who fell head over paws for the local stray (also a purebred despite being homeless) who lingered around their house. Their owner was one of the greatest most paticular mushers in town. At first this man was pleased with the litter since they all looked to come from the highest pedigree, until he caught a glimpse of Shesh (the only pup with heterochromia aka "different colored eyes"). The man relized it was the stray who had ruined these pups so he got rid of the dog (Shesh never knew his father) and this overreaction caused their mother to go into depression for a short time. The man was able to make a good fortune off the pups who's eyes matched but couldn't sell Shesh. He decided to use the dog and started training him to haul wood, makeing him incredably strong and giving him a sense of pride. However, like everyone Shesh wasn't perfect and when he displeased his master he was beaten or whipped. So Shesh attempted to be perfect at everything he did. One night the master's son, Alek, had come to visit. Telling stories of how he was hopeing to start a sled team, Shesh admired these stories just as the boy admired Shesh.
When Shesh failed to deliver a heavy load of wood to the barn he was beaten brutely by his master, thankfully as he was about to slip into unconciousness Alek stepped in and defended Shesh from his father's rage. The boy against his father's will, took Shesh home with him. He became very happy in his new home, he was free to run and enjoyed raceing against the local dogs. Soon his master bought a team of dogs and Shesh had the honor of being the lead dog. He ran lots of races and won most of them, those that he didn't win- he lost gracefully, his humble ways and speed made him fairly famous in the local racing circut.
Along with racing, Shesh's team often ran deliveries for the townsfolk. On one particular job, the team got lost in a blizzard. Thinking all hope was lost they stopped to rest. Shesh gaurded the camp, not wanting to admit that perhaps they where all in grave danger. A beautiful, snow white, female wolf appeared. At first she was frigtened of the much bigger dog, but being fasinated by wolves, Shesh attempted to befriend her. After he earned her trust and they talked a while, she told him she could get him back to town. Trusting her completely, Shesh led his team in the way the wolf had gone, following her scent until he made it back home.
After that incident he wondered what had become of the she-wolf, and why he couldn't stop thinking about her. So he made the desicion to leave his beloved home to go find the female. What happened to Shesh after he left home is unclear. Though it is said he mated and had pups with the female after joining her pack, but he was later killed, fighting for his family, when a rival pack attacked their territory and several wolves ambushed him.
Other
Dakota more than likely inherited his muscular body type from Shesh, while Dingo may have inherited the messy and unruley tuft of head fur.
