Personality: Goldwyn is a very charming, nice, strong, brave and loyal dog. However due to his popularity of his racing career he can be cocky and a little selfish. He can be laid back at times, but aggressive if he absolutely has to. He cares very much for his owner and before he met Aniu he only had fame and fortune of racing on his mind. Once he met Aniu, he cared deeply for her showing his strong ability to protect, care, and love for his mate and family.

Dislikes: Disrespect, violence.

History: Goldwyn was one of Nome's fastest and best lead dog racer. He had a lot of success and fame throughout his town, everyone knew who he was and got special treatment from anyone who pass him by. His owner and musher, even went as far to get him a specially made collar that was made with the finest leather and gold they earned from their races. His best friend Rusty, was his right hand man and the two rarely went anywhere without each other. They had their own hang out area in an abbandonned fishing boat outside of town. Goldwyn wore his new collar proudly to every race he had. 

One day on his way to the boat to meet Rusty, he heard some sounds of distress. Goldwyn decided to investigate this and found a white wolf trapped in a net in a nearby forrest. After the wolf saw him she convinced him to help her. Goldwyn agreed and freed her from the trap. The white wolf thanked him and asked to see him again. Goldwyn refused, but the white wolf told him that she would be in a nearby cave in two days waiting for him, and she ran off. Two days passed and with much thought he decided to visit her. The two quickly became good friends, the white wolf wanting to know more about a world in the city and Goldwyn wanted to know more about the wolf life. He frequently visited her in the middle of the night resulting in him being distracted during his races because of lack of sleep, and put distance between Rusty. After a very close recent win with one of his races his team was qualified to partake in a long and dangerous race for $50,000 and the title of the fastest lead dog in Alaska. Goldwyn in his excitement told Aniu, however she seemed saddened by his leaving but very supportive. Goldwyn and Aniu had a very heartfelt goodbye, and he left.

The next morning before his team went off, Goldwyn realized he couldn't leave Aniu because he loved her, after a strong argument with Rusty, Goldwyn left his team. The team was confused as to why he left, his owner not knowing what to do quickly replaced him with a young back up racer, Steele. After finding Aniu and confessing their love for each other, he decided to stay with Aniu and her pack. Though Goldwyn did not have a warm welcome the pack slowly started to accept him as he was unlikely going to leave. Soon after the birth of his second litter a rival wolf pack came and ambushed them in the middle of the night. Goldwyn and Aniu did their absolute best to try and protect their puppies. Aniu, Goldwyn, his oldest pup Baron, and Aniu's sister each took one pup and ran. He was ambushed by a wolf, making him drop Kibo, his youngest pup. The wolf lunged at the pup but Goldwyn got in the way getting badly injured. Aniu could not run to her mates aid as the rest of the threats were inching close to her family. She was forced to leave him. He managed to escape from the wolf  despite his injuries and ran towards Nome with Kibo. He stopped just at the abanddoned ship and he used all of his strength to keep Kibo warm. The next morning, Rusty found Goldwyn half frozen and alerted his former musher. Goldwyn's last moments were spent in his mushers arms, and with Rusty by his side. He imformed Rusty about his pup asking to go save him, and died. The musher saddened by the death of his dog, took Golwyn's collar and organized an annual race in his memory to which the prize would be; The Goldwyn Collar to the lead dog. After a few years was later just referred to The Golden Collar.

Rusty honored his best friends final wish, and found the little pup still alive in the abanddoned ship.
