Name: Archer
Age: Adult, 6 (in canine years)
Species: Siberian Husky (Dog)
Personality: Ambitious, cunning and ruthless.
Likes: Hunting with his master, eating fresh kill and chewing on toys.
Dislikes: Wolves, bears and losing a hunt.
Background: Born and put up for adoption in Nome, Alaska. An Inuit man took him in and trained him to hunt instead of sled. Archer followed his master’s ideals that wolves were bloodthirsty killers and must be killed for safety of the townspeople.
His master adopted a female husky pup named Charolette and took her in as a companion for Archer. But Charolette soon disliked Archer for his behavior around other dogs, and soon met Togo, a wolfdog. The master eventually found Togo with Charolette and took him in, leaving Charolette to take Togo as her mate. Outraged, Archer intended to attack Charolette for disloyalty until Togo defended her. Their master tried to break up the fight as Charolette watched hopelessly, Togo then bit their master in the face...blinding him in one eye. Togo escaped, but Archer vowed to find Togo and kill off all wolfdogs.
One winter night, Archer picked up the scent of a wolf pack and tracked them in a forest. Once his master found the puppies alone in the forest den, Archer nabbed pups for the kill. The mother wolf, Suka attacked Archer before he could reach Chena. He quickly defeated her and witnessed his master shoot her. Wanting to finish the hunt, he sniffed and tracked the run-away father wolf, Nanuq with a pup, Chena. In Nome, Archer found the wolf running down the roads, caught up with him and fought viciously. Satisfied with the victory, his master treated him with a new bone.
Little did Archer know that the pup was hidden in town. He did, however, notice a new female canine that appeared similar to the wolf he killed. Taking advantage of her timid nature, he teased by howling, calling her names and throwing snow at her. He would only cease the teasing if his master called him or Balto intervened.
He continued to hunt and kill with his master for years and when he is home alone while his master got firewood, the wolf fur on the wall matched the female canine in town. Realizing that was the pup which survived, he decided to finish the job. Find the female…and turn her into a fur pelt like her father.
A blizzard was incoming, Archer tracked her down into the snowy wilderness. He intervenes her journey back home, he confirms his past events of killing her family. Archer, Chena and her mate, Tunerk face-off, believing he could win over wolves, but he is defeated after an avalanche buried him in mounds of snow.
He never came back out of the snow…
