Bio
Story; Trey was born in 1924 in Nome, Alaska. His mother was named Dakota and his father was Kaltag. Dakota was a beautiful pure bred husky like her brother Steele, and she even competed in races and was a very successful sled racer. Kaltag met Dakota through Steele and everyone was surprised when she fell for a street mutt. However it didn’t last long. Dakota and Steele began fighting badly and around that time Dakota’s owner, a little boy, died of pneumonia. The family was devastated so they moved away brining Dakota with them. Soon after the move Dakota gave birth to two puppies Trey, and his young er brother Cal. Steele’s owners desperate for more race dogs heard of the two pups and contacted Dakota’s owners asking to buy them. The owners, having no interest in the pups, sent them away and Trey never saw his mother again.
When they had finally arrived by sled they were only a few months old and the journey had been rather hard. They had transitioned form train, to plane and then to sled. Cal was rather frail and the journey had been quite hard on them. When they were brought into Steele’s home Steele was immediately angry at his owners and despised the puppies. At first the owners tried to guard the puppies form Steele hoping he would get used to them but they were horribly wrong. After the pups were just two months old Steele attacked. He was fully aware Cal was not healthy but had no mercy for him. Trey, who was bigger than his brother tried his best to fight Steele off but he couldn’t save his brother. All it took was for Steele to drive the poor pups into the cold and keep them out in the night with his snarls and growls, not letting them inside the warm house. On that fatal could night Cal died the next morning, his little body not able to sustain the cold of the winter night. Trey was completely distraught and when the owners woke up the next morning Steele pretended he did nothing wrong and had walked right up to Cal’s body and nuzzled him. Trey, angrier than ever, leapt for Steele ato try to hurt him in any way but was pulled off by the owners. They threw Trey out onto the road like he was trash and left him there. In that summer Trey was glad Balto had taken Steele’s spot light. When Steele left Trey was happier than ever but then he heard of a new dog. She was remarkably pretty but was shunned in the town for being a selective bred dog whose parents were suspected to be Steele and Dusty although Dusty always denies. Trey felt bad for her and went to her, and he was delighted to find she was actually kind and just wanted to belong. He took her little fox friend (Cloud) under his wing aswell and the two grew to become the best of friends.
