History: Reuben was adopted by a little girl named Rita, who thought it'd be a good idea to give to give Reuben to her father as a birthday gift. Rita's father Jonathan is a newly hired cop to the police department in Nome who recently won custody of taking care of Rita. Reuben and Jonathan grew very close together and he stayed by Jonathan's side no matter what even when Jonathan signed him up to be a police dog. Reuben was pretty good at his new job because he had a strong sense of smell. He made a few friends at the police station more specifically Reggie, a German shepherd that has the second best nose in the station. Despite the competition they became best friends. One day while out on patrol by himself, Reuben saw a dog steal some food from the butcher, the butcher didn't catch the thief in time so Reuben decided to do so. Once he finally caught up with the thief he found out it was a girl. She was a stray and due to her smooth talking he decided to let her go, but after he left he felt different. They kept running into each other and eventually he started to visit her more often and looked passed her trouble making ways because he was once one himself.
