Name: Winnie
Age: Unknown, but younger than Fritz
Gender: Female
Breed: Siberian Husky (Red/Chocolate Agouti coat)
Parents: N/A
Siblings: N/A
Mate: Fritz (at one point) Gets another somewhere along the way…
Offspring: she has a litter with Fritz (they will be designed one day…)
Personality: She is happy-go-lucky, hyper and just loves to have fun; most describe her as a child in an adults body, she seems to have boundless amounts of energy that never wanes. She is extremely friendly, and doesn’t seem to poses a single mean bone in her body. She tries to keep an open mind, but her mind can often be made up for her by those she associates with, she is very gullible this way.
Likes: Running and being active like any typical husky. She loves being social and making a new friend or two never hurt anyone. She loves her family and would do anything for them, despite not always getting along with them.
Dislikes: Being cooped up, being scolded or getting yelled at, being alone.
Relation to Balto: Was the mate of Fritz, who is a friend of “Balto”
As My Character: I created her for JerseyCaptain’s contest a while back, she tied with another dog and became Fritz’s mate for a bit but not permanently. Was called Melina/Milena but I got tired of getting the spelling confused and the name was apparently taken on the site, plus her new one is cuter XD
History: She was born on a husky breeding farm, which was pretty typical for huskies back then. She was purchased at six weeks old by a small family as a friend for their daughter; little did they know what they were getting themselves into. As Melina grew, so did her puppy-like energy; she was a terror on their home, several times the parents tried to give the dog away, but their daughter would plead and beg and once again her parents would bend and the dog would stay, and it went on for like this for the first two years of Winnie’s life.
At around her second to third year, the parents had finally had enough, since giving Winnie away was not an option, due to their daughter, they decided to rent her out to local sled teams in a last ditch effort to run some of the energy out of her; and come to realize, she was pretty good at it, she was never put in the lead position, but just on as a team dog, not that Winnie minded; she was happy so long as she got to run
