History:Suggen was an "experiment" in away. They were testing to see if they could get better racing dogs if they crossed an Alaskan Malamute and a Siberian Husky. Both of the dogs were purely bred and were well matched. Leonhard Seppala wanted to see what this would produce him. He waited a couple of months and soon Suggen was born. Seppala liked the dog in general. He was an adorable young puppy but Seppala knew he must train the small cute puppy.
Then training began. Suggen was in a way like a project. He was going to be a bit like the "ultimate" sled dog. That's what Seppa wanted for him. Suggen worked hard everyday but training got harder and harder. There was no mercy. He was becoming a sled dog, forfilling his destiny and it was not easy. Seppala was pushing Suggen way out of his confort zone. He was forming the dog into one of the best sled dogs Nome had ever seen. He worked and worked, And eventually he began to pay off. Seppala put him on one of his sled teams to see his ability and what Suggen could do. Suggen had expected to be lead dog. But no he was put in the middle, he decided to prove himself as lead dog material. And that's what he did. Everyday he worked even harder, tried even harder. Seppala soon noticed Suggens determination. And Suggen got placed as lead dog.
Suggen's team began to rin races. He had glory and he had the ladies. But he felt like no of them were for him. He had flings but none lasted. However, he soon got bred to a husky import named Dolly. She soon had a puppy named Togo. Suggen soon bred again. But this time to a female named Brandy Snap who was very pretty and he really liked her. But she did not like him as much he liked her. She liked someone else. But she soon gave birth to a puppy named Esme who reflected both of her parents. Suggen wanted to be a good father to Esme so he looked after her and made sure she was ok. But he soon had to get back to his racing which he did. He won lots of races and lost some. But he was soon put into retirement.
Lovely desigh & lineart jordan thank you!

Finally, if you are going to claim a fan version of a real dog, you
should be placing your member name after its name in parentheses, just
as I and others have done with our versions. |

"Please don't give me any crap". Eeyeah...you realize that throwing
down the gauntlet is one sure way to get people to give you exactly
what you DON'T want, right? (It's also a pretty poor attitude for
someone who, under a previous name and/or profile, seemed so
interested in the real history and its importance. If you SAY it is based on a real dog (whether you call it a "conception" or not), you have an obligation to actually, you know, honor history and stick to the real animal as much as possible. Both in design and bio. Just as Mighty indicated (and incidentally, if you're going to change one part of the bio to reflect what Mighty taught you, you have to go over your work to make sure it's consistent all the way through). |
