Job: Member of a sled team
Status: Fourth line
Team: Ekon, Logan, Aurora, Jai, Aiden, Ashley, Kin and Aika

Dislikes: Balto, Steele, losing a race
Personality: Hikaru can be extremely shy towards dogs, wolves and humans she's never met before, not knowing if they're going to hurt her or not, but with her friends she's more relaxed. She has to be one of the easiest to scare in the team, often falling for pranks and tricks, she's also extremely clumsy, but tries her best to hide how angry she gets with herself.
History: Hikaru was born in the wild, in a woods to the north of Nome, but her parents were mistaken for wolves and were killed, along with her three siblings, but Hikaru had cleverly hidden under the body of her mother and wasn't seen by the hunters, but she was now alone, and her family were dead.
She walked on through the woods, soon reaching Nome, she was a young adult at this point and knew how to hunt and steal, so she stole meat to survive. One day, while she was busy stealing meat, she was caught by a human and taken to the human's house, the human thought she was stealthy and fit, so he made Hikaru a member of the sled team, where she made friends with the other members and trained hard every day.
(more to come)

I have to agree with most of Mighty's points here, except for the
husky would find it difficult to hunt part. My husky, Shasta, loves to hunt and he is very good at it. He once caught a hare, it was just his instincts to chase it and kill it (and it was a proper chase; he carried on running, following the hare's every twist and turns) When he caught it, he didn't bring it back to anyone or leave the kill there, he ate it- like a wolf. He's also caught partridges and other native animals before, by stealthily attacking a flock of partridges hidden in the bushes, but he knew they were there. One of the birds couldn't fly away fast enough, and Shasta jumped up into the air and grasped the bird- then ate that. Our German Shepherd (Diggs) is terrible at hunting, but Shasta's killer instincts make him a master at it. Therefore, I have to disagree. Huskies wouldn't find it difficult to hunt. We got Shasta from Wales and so he had no interaction with the open wild whatsoever. Overall though, I must agree with Mighty on mostly everything else here, you maybe want to research the breed a little more to get you a better understanding of them. She's not a bad character, but there are some improvements that could be made. She's got a nice look though c: |

A dog would not survive in the wild because they're domesticated... A
puppy cannot, or any other baby animal, cannot survive without its
mother either. "she was a young adult at this point and knew how to hunt and steal, so she stole meat to survive." She learned how to do this how? She has no mother to teach her how. And besides, Huskies were not bred to hunt, but to run and pull. I would think a Husky would find it difficult to hunt. And as to stealing meat? From who, wolves? Unless that carcass was abandoned, no wolf would tollerate ANY animal trying to steal its kill. A wolf pack would chase and then kill a dog. "One day, while she was busy stealing meat, she was caught by a human and taken to the human's house, the human thought she was stealthy and fit." NO! A human would not trap a wild dog and then place it on their team... A stray animal would NOT be friendly, and would also not be in good physical condition. "Relation to Balto: The team she's in are Balto's team's rivals" And Balto has a rival team? Since when? This character is not Balto related, and this whole rival team thing is more of a work around. |
And there have been more modern instances of this.
