Age: Teen-Adult

Breed: 1/4 Wolf and 3/4 Siberian Husky

Likes: Being recognized as "Balto's Boy", criticizing those weaker than him, pretending he was the only pup of the litter, when he his praised for his racing skills, racing in general, being the center of attention, the fact that his siblings live in his shadow, and causing Dingo physical pain.

Dislikes: When Saba gets more attention than him, when his mother "babys" Dingo, when Aleu is mentioned in conversations, when Kodi refuses to listen to him, when his team runs too slow, if any of his siblings show him up, having little paws, when a female refuses him, and when people ignore his stories.

Personality: Nothing at all like his father. Self centered, prideful, egotistical, inappropriate, rude, ignorant, obnoxious, vain: Dakota pretends to be family oriented if he is meeting someone for the first time, often expressing how much he loves Dingo, and misses Aleu. He acts like he wants to be just like his father but in all truth he wishes to become an even bigger name. He also has a huge problem with lust, having tried to flirt with Dusty on several occasions: ending in failure.

History

Dakota was the second pup to be adopted from Balto and Jenna’s first litter. As a young dog, Dakota was very proud of his wolf heritage and also dreamed of one day leading his own sled team, just like his father. Ironically, Dakota may be the worse sled dog out of his entire litter. His sheer size makes him rather slow, he used to practice racing Dingo, but the smaller pup always out ran him. This caused most of his hatred toward his brother. As he grew up, he found that no sled team wanted him. He then witnessed Kodi get a job on the mail team, Kodi offered that maybe Dakota could get a job there as well. So Dakota’s master arranged for Dakota to take a run with the team. In an odd string of events, Dakota earned the spot of lead dog on the mail team-much to Kodi’s spite. He only earned this spot because his size and strength allowed him to easily & literally drag the team along behind him. Somehow this made him become quite popular, with all the dogs envying him, and wishing they could be as “gifted” as Dakota. However, his fame would be short lived, soon after a new method of mail transportation took the team’s jobs…
