Identification...

Noir goes by the name 'Noir' which is pronounced (Noy-err). It was the name she was given by Nava. Though in the regions of Nome she is referred to as "The Blackest Night." which will be explained later in the biography. She is often mistaken for a brute/male due to her large height and masculine facial features but really she is a she-wolf. She is a young wolf, about 2-3 years of age. If human she would be 15 almost 16 years old and she was born on the 8th of January. Noir is a full-blooded Timber wolf and she takes pride in her heritage. Noir prefers to distance herself from love as she feels it's a worthless and pointless thing. She has a strong resentment for it from the last relationship she was in. Yes, she has dated before but it didn't end as planned which made her resentment grow from there onward.

Personality...

Noir is a very timid and gentle wolf, but she prefers to keep her distance from other canadaes. Her quiet nature makes her very mysterious because not much is known about her, at all infact. Dispite her timid side she is very brave and will put herself into any position if it's for survival, such as hunting or going into unknown territory because her food source is migrating elsewhere, which creates some danger for her. She has a strong connection with the earth and respects all kinds of various bits and bobs that nature has to provide. She tends to enjoy being alone as she feels her solitude ways gets her into less trouble. If there is a confrontation between her and another canadae she will think before she comes to rash desisions. If a fight does break out between them, she will not hesitate to inflict a lot of pain onto her victim. Infact, she finds pleasure in her victims cries of agony which makes her very sadistic in her ways.

Likes: She enjoys the feel of the cool wintery winds through her pelt when she's out running, being on her own, the scents and odors of the foilage(plants) around her, watching the Northern Lights across the sky.

Dislikes: She dislikes other canadaes and prefers to keep away from them, humans and what they do to her kind using the wolf's fur for their own selfish needs, deforestation(the cutting of the trees used for paper.), having to kill even if it's for survival.

Pcyche...

Her coat colour is a mixture of obsidian(black) and ivory(white). Charcoal is her main colouration, and white being the undercoat. She has a darker black as a dorsal stripe that goes from her muzzle, to the tip of her tail. She has the same colouration as the dorsal stripe for her 'socks' in which are on both her fore and hind appendages(legs). She has  very resplendent crimson optics which seperate them from her dark complexion and is the most feared and remembered of her. "Those eyes... The crimson optic they were just staring at me, it was like they could see right into my soul." -Anonymous. Noir has very broadly built, and stands about the same height as a brute, her masculine like features often get her misjudged for being a male in which she is not.

History...

Noir was born on the 8th of January by her mother, she was the only pup of her mother's litter. Her mother or her father didn't want the responsibility of being parents, so they left her in the frigid snow den, expecting her to pass on eventually. The parents felt no remorse for  what they did to their child. A day or so after the parents left, a wolf was on petrol of the area and found Noir in the entrance of the den, the scent of her parents were very vast, so the wolf took her back to his pack. The Alpha male Nava decided that they would raise her. And so, they did. Nava taught her the ways of the ancestors and have a connection with the earth around them. He also told her stories about them, and what they have succeeded, this was a motivation for her. A year after they brought her in, it was clear that she was growing into a define wolf and would have the chance to become Alphess someday. But she didn't see herself in being a leader at all. Thus, she decided to leave the pack and live on her own. She was very thankful of the way Nava educated her in the ways of her ancestors and she has now grown a large amount of respect for the terrain around her. Infact, her passion for the earth is so important to her that each time she hunts down a elk, she will be thankful for the meal that her ancestors brought to her and will even apologize before sentancing it to it's death as a sign of respect.

Two years have past since her disappearance from Nava's pack and she is still living on her own in her own territory with no hopes of creating a pack as she wants to live on her own and be close as can be to nature.

She was referred to as "The Blackest Night" due to her personality and dark complexion. The hue of her coat is almost the colour of the darkest part of night, which gives her the name. Noir also means 'Black' in French.

Relation To Balto(1,2,3)...

She was raised and brought into Nava's pack and she was close by enough to see the pack when they had to cross the ice lake to follow the caribou. She saw all the events that followed on after that and was glad that Nava was alright in the end, as she saw him as a fatherly figure.
