Name: Jaiden

Nickname(s): Jade

Breed: Siberian Husky (Sable)

Age: 3 years

Sex: Male

Parents: Caspar & Oswin

Siblings: Finnegan, plus lots of half siblings

Crush/Mate: Freya (crush)

Pups: None (closed)

Musher: Fiona Mayfield

Sled Position: Team Dog 3

Personality: Jaiden is definitely the nice guy of the team. Always cheerful and smiling, he is very good humoured, and loves to laugh and joke around with his team. While he is a very good guy, he is a little clueless when it comes to dealing with personal issues and cheering others up, even though he always tries his best. He is extremely dedicated to his job, and is utterly loyal to Fiona and his team. He is very playful and affectionate, and enjoys wrestling/chasing with other dogs, and getting belly rubs from their musher. Despite how much he loves spending time with his team, he also often prefers having time to himself considering he often has lots to think about and ponder, but these moments never last too long as he is so sociable. He isn't particularly popular, but that's because he prefers being with his tight-knit group of friends. He is also a bit of a romantic, but this isn't something he often brings to light due to him being embarrassed about it. Judging other dogs is something he wouldn't ever do because of his kindness, especially since he's afraid of being judged himself. But despite all this, he is extremely protective of his friends and can get a little defensive sometimes.

Likes: Long-distance racing, playing with other dogs, chatting and gossip, inside jokes, hanging out with Freya, belly rubs, squeaky toys and occasionally being by himself.

Dislikes: Awkward situations, exhausting runs, being scolded, losing races, arguments, and being talked about behind his back.

Fears: Bears, thin ice, vicious dogs, rejection, and ever losing anyone he cares about.

As my character: I wanted to create a team of dogs (mainly huskies) with natural markings and distinct personalities, to show that huskies and other sled dogs can still be interesting characters to create and own on this site.

Jaiden and his brother Finnegan were the only two dogs in their litter, considering their mother was bred every single year for money - meaning her litter got smaller and smaller each time. Her breeders weren't exactly professional and only really wanted to get money out of her, even though they did love her. They just didn't know what damage they were doing. Oswin gave birth to Jaiden and Finnegan after a struggling pregnancy, and it was very lucky the two had survived. Despite their mother's weakness, they were both very healthy puppies, but of course the vet still told their breeders it was time to stop forcing poor Oswin to have puppies. Her and their father Caspar weren't a mated pair, and instead they bred her with a different male every year, usually choosing very good sled dogs so the puppies would make good working dogs. Oswin and Caspar still got on well with each though, and they were very fond of their two children who they still have good relationships to this day.

Fiona adopted them both together, for she really didn't want to split the two apart. How could she? So she took them both home to train them up and put her on the team with the other dogs, hoping they would fit in nicely. Luckily they did, and instantly formed relationships with them all. Of course not all of them were completely positive. She put them both side by side as the 3rd and 4th team dogs, making sure they worked well together. Of course like all brothers they occasionally fall out and even fight, but for the most part they have a pretty good relationship. Freya, one of the swing dogs was adopted soon after the twins, and Jaiden formed a crush on her because of her intriguing personality. The two are pretty close and while he is very casual with her, he wishes he could be more honest about his feelings. He's just too afraid of rejection.

Fan art and images of him are more than welcome! If you want to render him, the best body to use would probably be a more husky shaped Balto or a fluffier thinner-tailed Kodi.

No lineart or renders were used for either image in this bio - the headshot was drawn by CatWhoHas14Tails and the fullbody image was drawn by myself. The images belong to us, so you CANNOT use them for ANYTHING.
