Personality: Extremely stubborn and often quite moody, Éclair is indeed a force to be reckoned with. She's rather stuck-up and confident in herself, and really isn't someone you want to get into a debate with due to her argumentative and often sarcastic nature. Respecting authority has never been something she's been particularly good with, so it's just lucky enough that she respects and likes Fiona and the lead dogs enough to listen to them. She can be quite demanding and impatient, and is a little bit of a diva, like most female huskies. While she does have a softer side which she only shows to her closest friends (especially Kitty), she prefers to mask it with her rough and independant exterior. She is very tough and good at standing up for herself and her friends, and can come up with some pretty rude and nasty insults and retaliations when she needs to. She is an excellent sled dog due to her fiercely competitive nature, and while she often won't show it, she is deeply loyal to her team as a whole - even though some of them do tend to run her patience ragged. Not quite girly and not quite tomboyish, she is a very interesting dog to know.

Likes: Kitty, races, winning, being petted, playing in snow, human food, humans in general, rough-housing, being clean, and nighttime.

Dislikes: Being flirted with, being looked down upon, anyone teasing or threatening Kitty, losing, getting too wet, noisy children and dogs, being left alone for too long.

Fears: Being humiliated, and losing anyone close to her.

As my character: I wanted to create a team of dogs (mainly huskies) with natural markings and distinct personalities, to show that huskies and other sled dogs can still be interesting characters to create and own on this site.

Éclair never really had a true home before Fiona finally adopted her as a permanent sled dog. Both of her parents were very high-class purebred breeding huskies - favoured for their beautiful colours and markings. So of course when they birthed their first litter, lots and lots of people were wanting to buy them. Their breeders were Mr. and Mrs. Milak, who sold Éclair to the Douglas family at first. They wanted a housepet in their family (mainly for their children to play with), and chose her because of her cuteness. They named her Dolly, and brought her into their humble family home. Even as a puppy she was immensely stubborn and ignorant, and would often misbehave and not listen whenever she was scolded. She loved to play with the kids, but often played too rough with them. She was EXTREMELY clever but had a mind of her own, so this caused to be a bit of a problem. As she grew and her attitude only became worse, the family decided to re-sell her. A man named Harold adopted her from them, for he wanted a guard dog to keep watch over his property. He kept her name, and let her run wild through his huge back garden. But when it came to guarding.. she was no good at it. Huskies are too friendly by nature to be decent guard dogs. So he got rid of her to replace her with a German Shepherd, leaving her open to adoption again. By this point she was about a year old.

Fiona found her in the kennel during her search for more sled dogs, and was enchanted by Dolly's colouring and markings. She definitely stood out to her, and when the two met the husky was extremely playful and eager for her attention. So, she was bought by Fiona, and was renamed Éclair for she felt it suit her a lot more than "Dolly" did. Weiss and Leah who were a few years older accepted her into their home, and while she liked them she was definitely more independant than they and the rest of the dogs in the home were. When Kitty was adopted shortly after, Éclair absolutely adored her and began treating her like a little sister. The rest of the dogs she didn't mind, but Finnegan has a tendancy to drive her crazy and push her temper. While she enjoys insulting him, she does sometimes worry she hurts his feeling - especially when Kitty points out the fact that he has feelings. 

When she was placed in front of a sled, she instantly knew this was exactly where she wanted to be. Instantly she began enjoying it, and was extremely eager and determined to pull all the time and as hard as she could. Due to her slight disobedience issues at times, she was placed right behind Weiss and Leah as a Team dog, and was very pleased with her position - even though sometimes she does wish she was one of the leads.
