Name: Leah
Nickname(s): She is often referred to as "ma'am", but sometimes her team calls her "Mother Goose" affectionately.
Breed: 50% Samoyed, 50% Siberian Husky
Age: 4 years
Sex: Female
Parents: Tundra (Samoyed) & Maisie (Husky)
Siblings: N/A
Crush/Mate: She has a crush on Weiss, but it's nothing serious.
Pups: None (closed)
Musher: Fiona Mayfield
Sled Position: Lead Dog 2
Personality: As her "Mother Goose" nickname suggests, Leah is pretty much the peace-keeper of the team. She is extremely motherly and gentle, and is adored by the entire team because of her sweet and caring nature. The samoyed/husky cross looks out for everyone, and is very good at stopping fights and arguments between the other dogs. She is very sensible and intelligent, and is very good at dealing with issues between the team dogs and helping Weiss out whenever he needs it. Despite her soft-spoken and feminine nature, she is a very hard worker and dedicated lead dog. She is a fantastic listener, and has a sensible and logical answer for just about everything. Always polite and always friendly, it's no wonder she's the one the other dogs often go for advice. Just like Weiss, she loves to play with and occasionally tease the teammates, and even teases him when the two are playing about. While being feminine she isn't stuck up or vain, but she definitely prefers keeping her light-coloured coat as clean and spotless as she possibly can.
Likes: Weiss, helping her teammates out, giving advice and solving problems, positivity, nature, looking pretty, speaking and being spoken to formally, playing, and the rewarding feeling you get after a hard day's work.
Dislikes: Fighting and conflict, rudeness, anyone she cares about being upset, anyone talking down to her friends, shedding season, being by herself, being indoors for too long, getting too dirty.
Fears: Ever disappointing Weiss or Fiona, insects, steep mountains and mud.
As my character: I wanted to create a team of dogs (mainly huskies) with natural markings and distinct personalities, to show that huskies and other sled dogs can still be interesting characters to create and own on this site.
Leah was actually born right into an accidental litter. Her father Tundra was a herder, working on a farm as a watch dog and companion. Maisie, her mother, was a purebred blonde saddleback Husky who met him by chance when her owners were walking her past the farm. When she saw Tundra she became curious, for she had never seen such a dog before. Soon enough she began sneaking out to meet him, eventually enticing him and becoming pregnant with his litter. This of course annoyed her owners, but she didn't get into too much trouble considering she didn't have a career and was just a housepet, so they made a deal with Mr. Smithson the farmer to sell the puppies and split the money between them.
When the 8 crossbred puppies were born, many people were wanting to buy them for house pets, sled dogs, herders and guard dogs. Fiona was one of the people who wanted a sled dog, and bought little Leah when she was about 9 weeks old. When she introduced her to now 1-year-old Weiss, Leah was a little shy at first but soon warmed up to him. It didn't take her long to warm up to Scotch either. From an early age she seemed very eager to run which was definitely a good sign, so just like with Weiss Fiona instantly began training her up. When her gentle, caring side began to show through as well as her hardworking demeanour, she was placed beside Weiss as the 2nd lead dog. To this day she is still very proud of her position, and works very hard in order to impress everyone while remaining a sweetheart.

Fan art and images of her are more than welcome! If you want to render her, the best body to use would probably be a much fluffier Jenna.
No lineart or renders were used for either image in this bio - the headshot was drawn by CatWhoHas14Tails and the fullbody image was drawn by myself. The images belong to us, so you CANNOT use them for ANYTHING.
