History: Lucan was born one cold winter night. His mother, a husky, knew she could take take care of Lucan or his sister Lyra, so she found a small town and placed them in a box. She left her sleeping pups to wake up in the strange place. When Lucan did wake up, Lyra was all ready awake and there was a small crowd of children looking at them. Lucan and Lyra was adored by children, but their parents refused to let them get close. Since they were part wolf, there was a possibility that they could bite the children. No one took the two pups home and Lyra, who looked more like a dog than a wolf, refused to leave Lucan. The climbed out of the box, after a long day with no happy ending, and traveled to the edge of town. They found an abandoned house and made that their home. The world was a big place for the two pups, so they spent a lot of time together in that house. Lyra often wanted to go explore the town. Lucan had a a bad feeling but one time they did eventually travel around. They were only chased back to their house when the two pups got too close to some children. Lucan had to make sure Lyra did not get into trouble with the townspeople.

As time went on, Lucan and Lyra grew quickly. They were the closest pair of siblings that ever was. They did everything together, despite their differences. Lyra did not care about what the humans said about her, and often snuck into town. Lucan had to keep her safe and out of the way. Then came the day when Lucan decided she was right. They needed something. They needed some exploration. So the two siblings got together and left their small town in search for something new. The trip was long  but fun. Lyra showed a bit more of her wolf side, howling constantly, while Lucan did not see too much fun in that. Traveling, and seeing new places was the  best and they ended up running into another town. Lucan warned Lyra about the humans, though she ignored him again. They found a small cave to call home and, although Lucan did not want to, they crept into town in search of some food and maybe blankets to make the cave comfortable. Lyra managed to find everything she was looking for, and Lucan kept her quiet. Some humans were talking, and Lucan got part of their conversation. It was about some wolfdog. Lucan and Lyra spent a lot of time in that town, and managed to keep out of trouble. Lucan kept hearing stories about Balto but could not believe it. A wolfdog accepted among humans did not seem possible. One day, he left his sister while she was sleeping to try and find him. It was a long walk but eventually he saw what he thought was Balto. Lucan introduced himself, asking him if he was truly the Balto. Lucan questioned Balto about how he had become accepted by the humans, and Balto happily told his story. Since hearing that story, Balto had become Lucan's hero and he returned home, hoping his sister would still be asleep.

He entered the cave to find it was empty. Lucan panicked and went on a search for Lyra. He ran into town, forgetting all about the humans, and looked for his sister. He finally found her around a strange man and some other dogs. He watched carefully, but kept his distance. The large man petted Lyra on the head and Lucan realized that she was not feared, because she looked more like a husky. He went back to the cave without bringing her home and just thought about Balto's story. Lyra returned, happy to see her brother. She told him about the sled dogs and all the new dogs she met. Lucan allowed his sister to spend time with them everyday, but still never wanted to step foot in town himself.

Later, he tried convincing Lyra that she should become a sled dog herself but she refused. He knew that was lie because she constantly talked about them. She still refused, and soon stopped spending time with them. When Lucan questioned her, she ran off, but only returned after she cooled off. Knowing his sister needing some space, Lucan went back to Balto hoping to be able to spend time with him. Balto was happy to talk and help Lucan any time and Lucan even became friends with his hero. Balto eventually told the story of Aleu, a story that he didn't tell too often although he was proud of his daughter. Lucan found that story amazing and couldn't help but image becoming part of a wolf pack himself. Lucan knew that he could not leave his sister, though, so he remained in the town where he was often hated.

It was a while before Lyra started her obsession with the sled dogs again and Lucan did tell her all about Balto and his stories, but she did not find much interest in them. Lucan met up with Balto often to talk and would return to the cave with his sister, who had come back from hanging around the dogs. The close siblings were becoming further and further apart, as they developed very seperate dreams. Lucan admitted his dream to live in a wolf pack to his sister, who was not so found of the idea but respected since her dream was to be a sled dog. They remained together for as long as they could before reality settled in. Some sled dogs offered Lyra a spot on their team, since she had been training with them for fun. Lucan heard about this and told her to accept it but she still refused to leave him. Lucan felt as if he was holding her back, so he left the town and ran to the wilderness in hopes of becoming a true wolf. He hoped Lyra would move on but she never did. She refused the sled dogs offer, to go on a search for her brother.

Lucan was enjoying the beautiful wilderness, but there wasn't a sign of a wolf pack near by. He traveled deeper and deeper into the unknown and soon found his instincts coming to life. His loneliness only lasted a week because he soon ran into another wolf. Lucan told his story, and the wolf thought it was very interesting. Despite being half dog, Lucan was welcomed to meet the other wolves and they all took a liking to him. He was allowed into the pack in a very short time. He had to work his way up in ranks but no one saw him as a monster and that was the best thing that ever happened to him.

One day, while hunting, Lucan wandered around when he had accidentally wandered into a bear's territory. The large bear was furious and challenged Lucan, who refused to back down because he knew his pack needed food. Lucan managed to dodge the strong Bear's attack for a while before he lunged at him, grabbed the bear by the neck. He was sure he was winning until the bear grabbed him, throwing Lucan off his neck. Lucan was slammed into the hard rock of the mountain. The bear got closer and Lucan was cornered. He lost all hope for a minute but something attacked the bear from behind. Lucan assumed it was another wolf from his pack but when he took a closer look, it was Lyra. She had returned. Lyra tackled the bear, sending them both down the hill, but Lucan grabbed his sister before she could fall with the large bear. The two were reunited and told each other everything. Lyra had explained that while looking for him, she met a kind man in the middle of nowhere. He lived in a large cabin in the forest, further from the town but had his own sled dog team. It wasn't the best sled dog team, and they were missing leadership. She ended up becoming the leader of them all and making friends through out the entire time yet she never forgot about her brother. Lyra often skipped practice to search for Lucan and it was all for the best because now they were together and alive. Lucan told her the story of his new pack. Their futures were so different, Lucan and Lyra knew it would be hard to see each other every day but when ever they can they'd meet each other half way between their homes to meet up. Lucan was always the happiest around his sister, and soon rose in Alpha rank in his pack.
