Bio- Elimo (Elimo was his birth name) was the pick of the litter, and he became a breeding dog.
His first owner, who named him Optimum, bred him with other dogs, but each time their was an unhealthy pup or one was stillborn. He was often called the worthless dog. Pretty soon, the females he had had pups with started dying, and he was renamed by his owner "Maledictæ Inutilis", or the cursed worthless one. Upset and hurt, he ran away. He came to a town named Nome, and Balto took him in on his boat. They lived together, and Balto called him Pax because he never spoke. One day Balto asked about his past, and Pax, enraged, killed Balto. Shocked, the nome residents and dogs renamed him Finem, or the end. A breeder from Ohio came to nome to visit family, and he ended up meeting Finem, who he adored. He took Finem back to Sandusky, Ohio with him. He did not like the name Finem. He changed it to Genus. He lived a happy life with the old man until one day, he passed away. To escape going to the pound, he stowed away on a ferry and went to Put-in-Bay, where he lived as a stray. All the other dogs called him Erro. An old widow took him in after he started sleeping in her garage. She named him Occulta. Occulta lived out the rest of his life on Put-in-Bay island with the widow.
