Personality: Chestnut isn't afraid to speak her mind or tell others what she really thinks about them, which can cause her to get into a heap of trouble, but she can't help it, being truthful is part of her nature...along with sarcasm. She hates it when she's being sarcastic and others actually think she's for real. Chessy is a bit lax with her attitude, but that exterior personality hides her fiery, outgoing, and extremely lazy side; she sometimes stands up for her friends, but only if she doesn't have to take the blame for something they did, and will kick your ass if she finds out you're tormenting them. Her sense of humor is somewhat cruel and she finds a lot of things funny that others would normally not; Chessy is clever and very smart-mouthed.

Bio/History

Both of her parents were purebred, but they had no idea that Chestnut and her siblings would be born. So, what happens when a local sledding dog mates with a different breed? You sell the puppies as quickly as possible, of course!

Puppyhood
-Chestnut grew up seeing only her mother; she never knew her father or what he even looked like. She asked her mother why she had no father one day, and her mom replied that the only thing keeping Chessy and her siblings from seeing their father was his owner. He had nothing to do with halfbreed offspring from his champion, AKC registered Malamute. Chestnut soon grew to loath humans because of the power they held over her father and would soon have over her.
At the age of five months, Chestnut and her siblings were adopted out, $800 was the price humans had to pay for them (I guess that's a reasonable price...) Chestnut scoffed at the idea; 'I'm worth so much more than that,' she thought bitterly. She was the third pup to get adopted off to what her mother called a "good home." Unfortunately, Chestnut's owner wanted to use her as a replacement dog on his sled team. 'Lucky me,' she thought.

Teenage Years
-Unfortunately for her, Chestnut was soon forced to learn how to pull a sled, an she absolutely HATED it. Yes, it was her job and something to burn calories, but her master, a HUMAN, made her do it. That is why she hated her job so much.

Adult Years
She soon found out that pulling a sled wasn't THAT bad; in fact, it had some of it's advantages, like when she met Bat, and it's disadvantages, meeting Kodi.
-At the age of 2 years old, Chestnut was accustomed to sledding but still did her job with never-before-seen laziness. Her teammates actually gave her a medal for that, too. She enjoyed her current life until she was introduced to Kodi, a friend of one of her teammates who she was madly in love with. The whole introduction disgusted Chestnut; Kodi was bragging about himself and how awesome his job was (though both he and Chess had the same job), and the other girl was squealing and blushing like crazy behind him. Finally, it was over and Kodi and the crazed fangirl left. Chestnut was relieved and was about to take a nap when her master called her. Annoyed and tired, Chestnut reluctantly trotted over to him and her team so he could put her in her harness. They had another mail delivery to make. After dropping the packages off and returning home, the team was traveling through the woods when Chess caught sight of a male wolf hiding from them in the bushes. They made eye contact and she tripped over her own feet and dragged the rest of the team down with her. The team reached home after they recovered from the accident and Chestnut decided to sit at the edge of town and see if she saw the one who caused her to trip coming into town. He did, and Chessy started blaming him for her fall, but he just stated that it was her own fault and she should have been paying attention. They had a short argument after that and became friends.

Likes: Bat (denies it), bones, other dogs who aren't just complete idiots, eating, Nome, Boris (because she enjoys cashing him and watching him attempt to fly away X3), when no one needs her help, relaxing, rain/storms, cashing birds (especially Boris)
Dislikes: Sledding, things not going her way, when others think she being serious when she's actually being sarcastic, when she's ordered to do something, the summer and winter, puppies, snow, romance (to her, there is no such thing as love), wolves
Hates: Muk and Luk (bears), Kodi (annoying), people, others who think they're all of that, Aleu (she thinks she's stupid), breeder dogs
