History
Keela and Cesko were born into the Golden Cliff Clan, in a time of piece, where Nava was a younger alpha and he and his mate, Hadda, had no troubles feeding the clan. The rivalries among the Golden Cliff Clan, the Silver Tundra Clan, Bear Mountain Clan, and the Blue Valley Clan were healthy, and peaceful. Keela and Cesko also had an older playmate by one month, who was Niju. It was all perfect, too perfect.
Leadership in the Bear Clan had fallen into the wrong paws of a young, cruel wolf. Soon enough, Bear Mountain was becoming violent, to the point where they began to trespass onto Golden Cliff territory. It got worse and worse, both Nava and Hadda had trouble managing. Then one day, Bear Mountain attacked.
The Bear Mountain Clan attacked right at the heart of Golden Cliff Territory. Haska, Keela’s mother, was also the beta, and was forced to send an omega in the pack out of the Golden Cliff Territory and into Silver Tundra Clan’s area for refuge. Keela and Cesko didn’t want their mother to leave them at only 8 weeks old, and were terrified at the cried from outside the den.
Haska licked and comforted her pups quickly, but lovingly, and told Keela and Cesko to listen to the omega no matter what. Keela and Cesko followed the omega out of the back of the den while Haska guarded the den from the inside. As they were about to get out of the den’s back opening, a large, menacing wolf entered through the front. He charged at the omega, who growled back at him. However, as the wolf was charging, he was thrown to the den wall far away from the pups by a smaller female figure. Haska growled and fought viciously for her pups, snarling and screaming at the wolf to leave her and her family alone.
However, Haska was greatly outdone. Both she and the wolf knew that. Finally the wolf had her pinned down. She looked over, and saw Keela, big eyed in horror, and unable to move. Haska screamed to her daughter, yelling at her to go. The omega grabbed Keela by the scruff and threw her down the tunnel. Keela got on her paws and ran down the dark tunnel, for which seemed like forever.
When Keela got to the other side of the tunnel, she was in the forest; she couldn’t hear the fighting or anything. She couldn’t even see the cliffs. She had never been in this part of the Golden Cliff Clan territory. She turned around, waiting for the omega, which came out of the tunnel. When the omega got though, she was bleeding intensely, with scratches and scars all over.
Keela was terrified, her mother’s words still ringing though her head. Then she realized; where on earth was her brother? The omega was already walking on, as if he wasn’t her responsibility too. She asked, her voice shaken, “Where’s Cesko?”
The omega turned around, eyes filled with sorrow. She licked Keela on the head, “I’m sorry, I failed Haska. Your brother is with her now, in a better place.”
Keela cried, sadness overflowing her. The omega offered comfort, and carried Keela by the scruff through the woods as quickly as she could. Soon enough, they came to the end of the wolves, and to tundra, which had woods on the other side of it.
The omega set Keela down and sniffed the air. He eyes went wide, and she turned around. Not far behind was the wolf that had taken Haska’s and Cesko’s lives. She grabbed Keela by the scriff once more, but this time, sprinted onto the tundra, into view. Her only hope was to reach the other woods, where the Silver Tundra Wolves could help.
The wolf chased after, and was faster than the omega. The omega was only two thirds of the way before the wolf was only five feet behind her. The omega whispered into Keela’s ear, saying she was sorry. Then threw Keela as far as she could ahead of her, telling Keela to run and not look back.
Keela went flying into the snow, but this time listened to the omega and ran to the woods. She didn’t see the omega turn to the larger wolf and attack him. Spending her life to give Keela the chance to run and save herself.
Keela made it to the woods, and continued to run. She ran and ran, on and on. She heard the menacing wolf behind her soon enough. She was scared, it felt as if it didn’t take him long to fight the omega and catch up to Keela.
As the wolf was about to pounce on Keela, he was thrown off by a similar large wolf. This time, however, the menacing wolf was evenly matched by a large silver male wolf, and was outnumbered by four wolves. The menacing wolf did not back down to the group of five Silver Tundra wolves, but soon ran off with many scars.
The large silver wolf that had blocked the menacing wolf came over to Keela and spoke softly to her, “It’s alright, dear, he won’t come near you again. I’m Ataciara, alpha of the Silver Tundra Clan.”
Keela shivered, not because she was cold, but forever scarred from witnessing three deaths all in one day by one wolf. Ataciara picked up Keela by the scruff and took her to his pack’s den site.
It took Keela days to talk. She has only told Ataciara her name in private, and didn’t talk at all besides that. He was the only one she trusted, and was basically her father. Without question, the Silver Tundra Clan let Keela stay. Soon enough, the Silver Tundra Clan heard about Bear Mountain Clan attacking Golden Cliff Clan, but news of it made Keela shell up even more.
It took about a year for Keela to open up to the Silver Tundra Pack, but when she did, she became very close, and was considered family. Ataciara and his mate, Maiko had tried to have pups before Keela, but it didn’t work out. Thus, Keela was practically adopted by the two alphas.
