Persona

Personality: Friendly, forgiving, pleasant, somewhat compulsive, keen, passionate about his beliefs, can be passive aggressive at times, and is easily frustrated. He’s a nice guy, but at times he tends to be passive aggressive when he’s frustrated because of his parents’ drama within the town dogs of Nome. He’s very sensitive when others stare at him because of his birth defect, and will snap at any rumors of Balto being the cause of his handicap. Zäsar has quite a temper, and is known to verbally assault anyone who offends him because of his parents or his missing leg.
Likes: Making friends when given the chance.
Dislikes: Being stared at because of his handicap, false rumors about him
Dreams: For his parents to get back together, for the drama and rumors of his missing leg end
Fears: Never finding a mate or having a best friend
Language(s): American English
Birth: January 1927
As my character: To be honest, I just wanted to make a more creative character than all the other second litter pups out there. I really have been wanting to make a tri-pod character, so I thought I'd mix the two and got Zäsar.

History

Zäsar was born the youngest of Jenna and Balto’s second litter of 12 pups. He was the only pup to be born with a birth defect of missing his back left leg. Zäsar has never known any different than having three legs, and doesn’t mind being tri-pawed. Balto wasn’t around when Zäsar and his siblings were born because he had ran off into the wilderness to be with the wolves after learning that Jenna had mated with Steele in 1924 and kept it secret from everyone. However, Chromium, Copper and Zinc (three of five of Jenna’s pups with Steele) were there to help Jenna with her litter of twelve.

Usually a crippled pup would receive most of the attention from parents among the family, but considering Zäsar has 11 other siblings that Jenna, Chrome, Copper and Zinc had to worry about, he was given an equal amount, or even less attention with his siblings. When adoption day comes around, Zäsar is the only pup left behind, due to his handicap. No child would want a crippled puppy, and no musher has a use for a tripod dog. Thus, Rosie’s parents had no choice but to have two dogs, Jenna and Zäsar, in the household.

Zäsar lives his life like any other pet. He is not very close with his only remaining littermate in Nome, Wynter, or his mother, or Chrome, or his stray half-sister Copper. And with Zinc living in Washington (the state) with Silver, and Steele; while Tin is off being a state champion sled dog somewhere in southern Alaska, Zäsar becomes lonely. He makes friends with sled dogs that pass though Nome, but they all come and go, so he has no close friends as of now. He often sees cute girls around, but does not bother to make a move.
