History: Ace was the second to be born in a litter of 5 total. He usually didn't eat much as a puppy and everyone thought something was wrong with him. When his owner took him to the vet for the very first time, they said that he was just not that hungry. Everyone felt so silly. Ace grew up along side his brothers and sisters for about 8 months before someone finally adopted him.
The owner who adopted him was Tom Brackston and he was looking for a nice, healthy puppy who had great potential of becoming a champion racer and stud. And they got the right dog for that job. Ace was introduced to a sled way before any of his other siblings. He adapted quickly, earning many winnings and ribbons. When Ace had turned 1 year and a month old, he won his 10th victory of that season. Ace was known as the youngest sled dog to ever win a Bronze medal.
Ace was fed right, being happy and healthy most of his life after he got adopted out. Soon his owner found love, spending more time with his girlfriend then with Ace. Ace was infuriated with Tom's lack of attention to him. So one morning while Tom left his girlfriend to babysit his dog, Ace gave her the time of her life. Usually snarling and barking at her until she backed into the corner. Ace didn't like this woman and he could tell she was afraid of him.
During that day, she attempted about 3 times to try and escape the house, Ace catching her each time and sending her running back to the corner. When she finally crept to the door and opened it, Ace jolted from behind the couch running at her with his mouth open. She slammed the door shut and backed away from it quickly. Ace pawing and snarling at the door for that extra measure. He soon realized that his owner wasn't seeing that girl anyone, good riddance. Ace continued his days like they were any other, unknowing that the girl had requested for the dog to be given a distemper shot.
Mr.Brackston agreed to do so, even though he knew Ace would never do such a thing. When they arrived at the vet, they all discovered that Ace was fearful of people with needles. Snapping at the air, Ace wouldn't let the man come close with that needle. 'Doc, if you hand me that needle, I'll do it.' Mr.Brackston finally said, after about 20 minutes. The vet willingly handed the needle over and stepped back, watching. Tom stuck him with the needle, injecting Ace with a stimulant. 'You should have him fixed too. It could lead to health problems.' The vet suggested. Ace's eyes widened and he leapt off the table, running out of the vet.
