Personality: Deuce is a very outspoken dog. He was first born and first to get anything, before his siblings. Deuce dominated all of his siblings, showing he was no follower, but a leader. He has a slight anger issue but nothing to drastic. Deuce is very laid back when it come to hanging out with friends but he has an extreme competitive side.

Likes: Power over the weak, being a hero, flirting, getting attention, and racing.

Hates: Loosing a race, getting rejected by a girl, and being ignored.

Fears: Rabies and becoming un-attractive.

Wants: Kids of his own.

History: Deuce was born after Balto's victory. He was the biggest puppy in the liter, mainly because he would always eat before everyone else. Deuce grew over time, soon becoming taller than his mother in just a few short months. When Deuce turned the ripe age of 1 years old, he was given to a little girl named Susie for her birthday.

Deuce and Susie grew up together, sharing many wonderful moments. Susie had left Deuce at home one morning to go hang out with her friends, noticing how sad Deuce looked without anyone to be there with him. After a while, Susie decided getting him toys and treats would give him some deprevation relief, but alas it didn't.

During a walk outside, Deuce noticed a small puppy abandon behind the boiler room. He barked, pulling Susie over to see the puppy. He didn't intend for Susie to want to take the puppy home! Deuce knew this puppy would just get in the way of things. Deuce and the puppy started talking more and more each day, becoming friends. Later on they were both hitched to a sled, testing it for the first time.

Little did everyone else know, that wasn't Deuce's first time being hitched up to a sled and he surprised everyone when he responded to the musher's calls. The puppy had a hard time keeping up with fast pace Deuce, but what he lacked in speed he gained in endurance. Deuce and the puppy got to be the best of friends. The puppy had gotten out of his kennel one night and had snuck off, looking for trouble like Deuce always said he used to do.

And trouble he found. The puppy's pain filled cries couldn't be heard as the bear tore him apart. The poor pup didn't make it back home that night. The next day, Susie went to do look for the puppy, using Deuce's nose to guide her to him. What Deuce found nearly brought him to tears as his little buddy lay on the ground, lifeless.

Ever since then, Deuce has been solitary. Not wanting anything to do with anyone, just being a depressed and emotional dog. Days afterward, Susie and Deuce got entered into a sled race, all about endurance. Deuce felt so wrong getting hitched up, his little friend no longer beside him. Deuce soon moved onto become a championship dog racer. Competing against all and any teams who tried to over throw his title.
