When Aleu moved to America his heart broke in two. He stayed in Nome for a couple of years. He was a lone wolf for years.

Finally, Balto told him if he ever wanted to do somethinghe should do it. He took the advise and went to America to find Aleu. There he saw Joel and was invited into a pack. He saw Aleu but didn't recognise her at first. Then he noticed her voice.

"Aleu?" He said

"Leo? Is that you?" She had replied

From then on he decided that he would stay in America to protect the wolves in Dogatto's pack. (And he made that desision because he saw Aleu again and was determaind not to lose her)
