Personality: Shelty's very calm and tolerant dog. He has no issue about being in his brother's shadow cause and says: "If you don't want to burn relax in shadow". He never gets angry and matter-of-fact no one ever seen him angry or sad.

Story: He's born in 1918 among pups that became famous sled dogs. Unlike his brother he has no high ambitions and he was happy just to be family dog. Wondering around Nome he met Penny, daughter of Kirby and Dusty. Since they had same problems with society they developed friendship based on brother-sister relationship. Even if he doesn't completely understand Warwick's thinking and acts he comes before each race to support him, wish him luck and on that way remind himself how much his bro means to him. Accident before Wick's retirement left big impression on Shelty cause he knew how much his big brother loves to run and pull sleds. He was thankful for Steele's support cause he didn't know how to cheer Wick so he just stood aside watching Steele and Warwick behaving like family and that made him wish to have that kind of relationship with his brother.

Relation with Balto: His brother is friend of Steele and he himslef became good friend with Penny, daughter of Dusty and Kirby who will later become his mate
