Personality: He has a very slight but almost unnoticeable German accent, which, if he uses, can attract some attention. He doesn't really like it but isn't bothered by it. He is very polite and caring and always makes time for others, even if he is busy. He is a real gentleman towards females.

History: As most puppies, he was adopted when he was 8 weeks old but was taken by a German man who wanted something interesting to paint. As such, throughout his puppyhood, Franz was studied often and has many drawings and paintings around his house devoted to him. He saw them as just being part of everyday lfie so doesn't brag about his 'fame'. When he is about 3 years old, his master moves to Nome to be closer to his sister. Franz comes along too and meets Dakota, who embarrasses herself in front of him. He finds it sweet and goes home hoping to have made a new decent friend. He later finds her, while on a walk around town at night, being attacked by Orca and steps in to help. He comforts her and takes care of her. He also becomes better friends with Pride and Dusty, who are worried about Dakota. He saves Dakota again when Orca attacks her and throws him into the river, where Orca drowns.

Other: It was accidental but after I drew and coloured him I realised he has blonde fur and the same eyepatch as Kaltag. I dubbed him Kaltag's nephew.

Relation to Balto: Nephew of Kaltag, cousin of Dusty, mate of Dakota.
