BIO:

Dingo was one of the pups adopted and taken into a loving human family, but by his adolescent years his wolf side began to show and he was kicked out.  To walk in his father's pawprints he tried out for the sled team along with Kodi but didn't make it (his wolf traits did play a part in his rejection but were not the only reason why he wasn't accepted).  Kodi however was accepted onto the sled team and took the position that would've (and to Dingo should've) been his.  He despises Kodi for that very reason, and they get into a verbal (and eventually physical) conflict whenever they interact.

After so many rejections Dingo has become quite a loner, spending most of his time wandering around the outskirts of Nome.  He spends the daytime generally with Mel and Dipsy at the mail office (when he's able to sneak in) and has formed a "job" there, and he often spends his nights at the shipwreck with his dad Balto, who obviously can empathize with his rejected son.  Balto however also has a great concern towards Dingo, as he often runs off with Muk and Luk or whoever else will go out into the wilderness with him, desperately seeking the danger and adventure that his father has experienced time and time before.

On the other side of his siblings, there is of course Aleu.  Dingo does not remember very much about her, as they last interacted before he was adopted.  But he has heard about the adventure Aleu and their father had together, and when he stays with Balto he asks about her in great fascination.  Balto, in turn, asks Dingo if he's had any of the dreams that brought about their journey.  He's afraid that he may lose Dingo in the same manner.
