Personality: outgoing, stubborn, and despite her looks, a very nasty temper that flares up in a instent. She can, however, be very kind and gentle when she wants to be.

History: She was born in a litter of one, so she ussualy played with the neighborhood pups. She became a skilled fighter and won most of the play-fights. When she was sold, a woman who raced dogs bought her and taught her to pull a sled. Dawn didn't care much for it, but she did like running, so she did it. One day another woman came and took Dawn home with her. Dawn soon learned that her owner was going on a trip and this other woman was watching her till she got back. The woman slept most of the day, so Dawn wanderd. None of the town dogs would talk to her, instead they whisperd and pointed. Dawn didn't get why.

Night came and the woman took Dawn in a truck to a old rundown barn. The woman took Dawn in where she saw men waving green paper and shouting at two dogs in a round pen. One was small and brown, the other was large and red. Dawn watched in horro as the two dogs lept at eachother and started fighting. The woman tugged Dawn toward the pen and Dawn struggled to get away. A man grabbed her and threw her in the pen. Dawn shook as she she starred at the brown dog. It was female and older then her by a year at least. Dawn trembled as she waited for the dog to leap at her. But the dog never did. The men grew restless and began jeering and throwing things. A block of wood landed on Dawns paw and she yelped. Then something grabbed her and ducking under the men's legs. They were outside when suddenly they jerked to a halt and Dawn went flying. She stood and saw with great suprise the brown female being pulled back by a man. Dawn took a step closer, but the brown female yelled at her to run. dawn hesitated, but the female screamed to run, so she turned and ran toward the woods.

Dawn ran until she couldn't hear anything but the wind rushing threw the trees. Exzhasted, she curled up under a pine and fell asleep. She woke to a loud growling. She looked up and saw a large black wolf in front of her, fangs bared. It snarled at her to leave, so Dawn got up to go. But the wolf jumped at her and pinned her down, teeth clasped around her neck. Dawn sturggled to breathe and push the wolf off, but he was three times her size. Just when she started blacking out, there was a shout and she could breathe! She shook her head and saw a smaller black wolf on the back of the larger one, fangs locked onto it's neck. The larger wolf eventuly threw the smaller one off, but the smaller lept back at him and latched onto his neck. The larger wolf threw him off again, then turned and ran.

The smaller black wolf turned to Dawn and asked her what she was doing out here. Dawn exsplained and the wolf rolled his eyes and said how cruel and thoughtless humans were. Dawn disagreed that all humans were that bad, some were nice. The wolf snorted and told her to get back to the town she came from. Dawn refused and said she'd go with him instead. The wolf rolled his eyes again and told her if she came he wouldn't save her again if she got attacked. Dawn agreed and followed him.
