Personality: Shy, timid but strong willed. He can fight for himeself but he is as he puts it a coward. But he is a huge prankster, he wants to have a good life. Bear like at times.

Backround: Born in the Alaskas Moutians,with a small pack. Unknown to his father his mother was in love with a dog. So when he was born with a dark spot around his eye, his father named him Tonar, meaning devil since in the packs beliefs the dark spot means horrible curse. His so called father Threw the helpless pup away on the moutain alone but soon after his mother left the pack and her other son to care for him. She gave him another name of Gruvu.  His mother left died shortly after. Alone he found a den and slept in it. unware to him four bear cubs were also sleeping. When he awoke a mother bear and her cubs had wrapped around the mutt. He was to tired to care. He ended up being raised by those bears so at times he can be as you say strange because a canine acting like a bear is very weird to see. He sadly had to leave his bear family and was taken into a fur trader who was mauled by wolves. The day they met was when wolves were attacking the poor man. Gruvu (being the beast he is) attacked the wolves with his bear-like skills and chased them away with some help from the man.The fur trader took him in and named his bear. Sticking to his new friend both go on lots on adventures.
