Personality: quiet and caring, he has a sweet dispotion that made many females adore him, but he only had eyes for June. He does have a temper, but it ussualy takes alot to get it flared up.

Likes: June, May, his pups, winter, running, fresh snow

Dislikes: rude dogs/people, ice, Margret(June's sister), someone threataning his pups

History: He belongs to a wealthy man who showed him alot. Miliko didn't really mind, but he did grow lonley. One day his owner came home with a beautiful brown female border collie, June. June was kind and sweet, and she warmed up to Miliko right away. Miliko and June soon fell in love and eventuly had 4 pups. Their owner was furious, since the pups were mixed, and promply sold June when the pups were a week old. Miliko tried in vain to raise the pups, but sadly, one of the boys, Tom, die.d after a week. News of this reached the ears of June's older sister, Margret. Margret came and took the last three pups to raise herself. Miliko tried in desperation to stop her, but she took the pups anyway. 

 

Miliko was depressed and felt very alone for many months. He took nightly strolls around town to try and clear his head, but it didn't do much. On one of his strolls he found a bruised, starved, and freezing cold brown female. June! Miliko was overjoyed, but his joy was short lived. June was coverd in cuts and bruises, she was very skinny, and shivering. Miliko tryed to warm her up and get her to come back to the house with him, but June sadly smiled and just started asking about what had been going on. Miliko sadly told her about Margret taking the pups for herself to raise. June laughed a little, saying he needn't worry, he'll see them again. As the morning hours came, Miliko tried a final time to get June to come with him. She just licked his cheek and said she'd miss him, and to tell the the pups when he found them that she wished she could have seen them again, then she layed down, closed her eyes, and moved no more.

 

Miliko was depressed and heartbroken beyond his friend's imaganation's. He stayed in his house all day, rarely seen outside at any time, and when they did see him, his face was ashen and he looked rather skinny. Finnaly, a black female heard of Miliko's depressed state and wanted to help him. Miliko was on the porch when she came by. She introuduced herself as May, and started asking him what was wrong. Her voice was sweet and gentle, and Miliko found himself telling her about June. When he was done, May told him that she too had lost her mate, though he'd fallen through ice and drowned, and that she still missed him, but that she wasn't going to mourn for him forever.

 

May kept comming to see Miliko and soon he started feeling like himself again, and looking like it to. Miliko enjoyed May's company, and after a few months of seeing eachother, he asked if she'd be his mate. May agreed happily.
