Name: Layla
Gender: Female
Breed: Icelandic Sheepdog
Parents: N/A
Siblings: N/A
Mate: Jace
Children: Kissa
Personality: Very sweet-natured and kind. She gets on well with almost anyone so long as they don't mean any harm. She is polite to all of the farm animals, even the sheep who she secretly finds to be a bit stupid.
History: She was sold to a neighbouring farm to the one owned by her parent's owner. She wasn't too saddened by the change as she could sometimes see them around and could watch them on their farm on clear days. She worked hard and did as she was told. When her owner's cousin visited the farm when she was roughly 4, she brought along her own dog. Jace was a keeshond/husky cross who was in a minor sled team. He became quite good friends while he was staying on the farm and trained despite not being home. Layla thought he was a good friend. Their owners decided to see if they would breed so that they could have both more sled and herding dogs. By this point, the two dogs liked each other more and were all too willing. They were excited to be having pups but Jace and his owner went home before they were born to participate in some races. After Layla had her pups, Jace and his owner visited again. They were distraught to find a depressed Layla with only 1 of what should have been 6 pups. The pup was named Kissa and she was raised as a herding dog and was always excited for her father's visits. Since the incident, Layla and Jace haven't wanted more pups out of fear of losing them again. However, it isn't completely impossible and they may one day decide that Kissa needs siblings.
Other: The pose was from an image found on Google (I'll look it up later) and the face markings from another.
Relation to Balto: Mate of Jace who is Dusty's brother and Dixie and Kaltag's son.
