As my character: I've had Misti for a while. Her design is meant to be extremely reminiscent of Jenna, in order to attract the attention of an embittered Steele after Jenna chose Balto over him.
History: Misti was more or less born on the streets, and wouldn't have it any other way. She spends most of her life carving out her own existence in the back alleys of White Mountain and Safety. She meets my character Nicole in Safety, and arrives with her in Nome shortly after the end of the first "Balto" movie after fleeing a pack of rabid dogs. At this point, Steele is still lusting after Jenna, and becomes enchanted by Misti's resemblance to her from a distance, but decides that he wants to use her to get back into the town's good graces by catching and turning in the new stray who has been stealing the butcher's meat. Eventually, however, he forms a soft spot for her, and learns to let go of the past.
