Characteristics

Personality: Dylan is a very nice and polite wolf, but he is very shy and timid. He doesn't really speak up in his family, only because he is unbelievably shy. He doesn't like to call attention to himself, and when it happens, he becomes somewhat socially awkward. All in all, he is a very sweet boy. He's kind and gentle to everything, and loves his family more than anything else in the world. He wouldn't hurt a butterfly (literally).
Likes: Family, nature, the outdoors, playing with butterflies, relaxing, peace, quiet, being alone, and warm days.
Dislikes: Having too much attention, rough and cruel canines, fighting, arguing, and really cold days
Loves: His family, dawn, and he simply adores Aleu
Hates: Swimming
Talents/ Abilities: Because he is so kind and gentle, he gains the trust of others fairly quickly
Weaknesses: He's a pushover and often gets taken advantage of.
Dreams: He really wants to be reunited with his mother (he's a momma's boy), but eventually learns to aspire towards other goals such as finding a sense of community and family again.

History

His mother was a sable sled dog and his father was a member of the Avita Pack located just south of Kotzebue, Alaska. Dylan was born one of six and proved to be the most timid of the litter. He was quickly sold to be a dog fighter, but he couldn't take the abuse and cruelty he faced in his current situation. After a month of hating his life, by chance he was freed by an Avita wolf and ran away to join his father's pack.

In the fall of 1927, Dylan gets stuck on an iceberg in the bay and is floated out to sea. His iceberg eventually meets up with an ice bridge leading west. Dylan takes the most direct path to land, and ends up running into Aleu's newly acquired pack. The pack takes him in, but he (along with Aleu) both continue to struggle in the pack due to their domestic heritage. So their bond is created out of similar situation. Their bond grew, and Dylan helped and supported Aleu along the way when she faced leadership problems. Despite Dylan's kindness towards Aleu, he was much more behind the scenes in terms of being supportive and loyal, and Aleu was too oblivious of it to truly notice or appreciate Dylan's emotional stability that he offered. So this lead to Dylan being shoved aside and overlooked when Aleu took an interest in other boys as possible mates. Aleu even tells him at one point that she needs someone that is strong to stand by her, almost as if she wants more brawn than brains, which in truth, she needs more sensitivity and kindness to help smooth over her unbalanced personality.
