History: Rory was born a healthy pup with 3 sisters and 2 loving parents named Phantom and Leia. She never had a pack to begin with, and didn't mind much because her parents were smart wolves that knew how to care and help make their family survive. Her beginning was cheerful in summary. She played nicely with her sisters, her mother kept them safe at night, and her father taught her the ways of trickey and how to keep her mouth quiet. Rory loved her father more than anything else in the world, because he gave her the most important skills she needed to survive. Nothing could go wrong in Rory's life, but it did.
When Rory was about 2 months old, she was inside the den with her mother. Her sisters were outside of the den playing with their father. Rory and her mother were dozing peacefully, untill they heard a blood curdling scream from outside. Within seconds, Leia was on her feet and in the entryway of the den. She stood there frozen in horror, and Rory came to see what was wrong. Rory too froze in horror as she saw a large wolf - that turned out to be called Darcia - accompanied with a few followers. Phantom was pinned against the ground and Rory's three sisters cowered in a corner of the clearing.
The wolf Darcia approached Leia and bargained for Leia to be his mate. Leia refused, and Darcia quickly warns Leia that he won't hesitate to ruin her family. While Rory listens to this exchange, she doesn't understand Darcia's motive for wanting Leia, but is too young to fully comprehend the politics in mating. Darcia quickly gets frustrated, with Leia's rejection and takes out his anger on Rory's sisters. Phantom desperatly tried to save his pups from Darcia, but is held back by Darcia's followers. Phantom, Leia and Rory are forced to watch as Darcia attacked and cruely kills all three of Rory's siblings. Leia begs for Darcia to stop but he doesn't. As he turns his attention to the last pup (Rory), Leia quickly makes a decesion she knows she would regret for the rest of her life.
Leia accepts Darcia but under the condition that her family would live. Darcia gives a devilish smile to Rory and lets her live. Darcia then kills Phantom, despite Leia's desperate protests. Leia argues that Darcia was breaking their agreement, to which Darcia counters since he was now Leia's mate, Leia was no longer family with Phantom. Rory watched in horror as her father was slautered, and both she and her mother mourned painfully. Darcia took Leia and Rory away to his pack, leaving happiness and love behind with Rory's lost family.
Rory was heartbroken in so many ways, and so was her mother. The two mourned for weeks, but tears can't being back lives. Both Rory and her mother moved on, but those memories always stayed in their hearts. Rory and her mother traveled south with Darcia until they came to the White Mountain area. There they stopped, and met up with Darcia's pack. They became a part of Darcia's pack, which he named the Anevay (which meant "Superior").
Darcia began to use Rory as leverage against Leia. If Leia didn't do what he wanted, Darcia would kill Rory. Darcia didn't break his promise to Leia, because Leia never gave him an excuse. Rory adjusted to the pack fine, but didn't really talk much with the wolves in the pack. Rory often shadowed her mother, not wishing to spend time with the other pups since they were harsh, cruel, and often found amusement at the expense of others.
Darcia also had a pup with an unknown female, who was a year older than Rory. His name was Titan. Titan often bossed Rory around, so Rory did her best to stay away from him. She somehow knew that Titan would be like his father in so many ways.
Rory's mother was expecting pups with Darcia. Rory waited patiently for three months for her siblings to arrive, and when they did arrive, Rory was somewhat happy but also disappointed. Rory was mostly upset about only having one sibling, who Darcia named Ethon. Ethon looked exactly like his father, and Rory had affection for her little brother despite some character flaws he eventually got from shadowing Titan.
Rory babysat her little brother, who was only 5 months younger than herself, and was always nice to him. But no matter how nice and kind she was to Ethon, he was always a little brat. When Rory would tell him to do something, it was only out of love and concern, which Ethon often mistook for bossy. Ethon's mentality that Rory was bossing him around stemmed from Titan's influence, and was a delusion that greatly severed Rory's relationship with Ethon.
Rory and her mother watched both Titan and Ethon grow up, and they both secretly knew that they would be exactly like Darcia. Rory and her mother were both right. By the time Ethon was a year old he already was bossing around every single wolf in the pack as Titan had. Rory kept her distance from Titan and Ethon, and let them boss her around. Rory didn't really care much about Titan, but still loved Ethon as the little cute and innocent pup that she saw inside.
Titan became the alpha of the pack, and both Darcia and Leia died. Rory didn't care for Darcia's death, but when Leia died, Rory was very upset. Rory didn't care what others said about her favortisim about her mother, because the only wolf that could punish her was the alpha, and Titan didn't really care for Rory. Ethon however, did have some respect for his half-sister, and wasn't as mean to her as Titan was. Since Ethon did have a soft-spot of love for his mother, Leia's death helped bridge the gap between Rory and Ethon. Ethon had also become Titan's second-in-command and a very strong beta to the pack.
Titan devised a plan to be an ultimate ruler, and started it by taking over a neighboring pack. The pack was called the Angpetu, and Titan quickly dominated the pack. Rory liked the wolves in the pack, and there were two that seemed like good wolves. Their names were Panther and Aurora. Rory became good friends with those wolves, she never meantioned that she was Titan's sister though, because she knew her friendships would immediatly end with Panther and Aurora.
Titan had saved two wolves from a neighboring pack and forced them to join the Anevay pack. Their named were Jimmy and Illia, and they came from the Alsoome pack. Rory took an intrest in Jimmy, and the two became close, very close. Neither Titan nor Ethon noticed Rory's interest in Jimmy, and disregared the chemistry between the two. Ethon suggested a plan to his brother, saying that they should use the two Alsoome wolves to help tacke over the Alsoome Pack. Sadly, Illia escaped. Jimmy, howevre, stayed when he had the chance to leave. Confused and suspicious, Titan kept a close eye on Jimmy. He soon realized that Rory and Jimmy had fallen in love. Titan shared this information with Ethon. Titan came up with another plan, which would not only result in breaking Rory's heart, but also end the Alsoome Pack. Titan manipulates Jimmy's feelings for Rory and uses him as a spy in the Alsoome Pack, thus sending him back home to wait for the right time to strike and take over the strong pack. Titan's plan would lead to Jimmy's death from either side no matter the success of the plan. Jimmy's fate didn't frighten Ethon. but it's impact on Rory oddly affected Ethon's emotions for Rory.
Ethon was conflicted for his sister when he learned about Titan's plan, ultimately leading to Ethon helping Rory when she gives birth to a litter of pups during a spring storm. Titan orders Ethon to kill Rory and Jimmy's litter. When Ethon goes to Rory's den to do the job, he realizes he can't carry out the job and helps Rory escape. Rory carries young Ava through a spring storm, while Ethon carries Lux, and leaves the strongest of the litter, Willia for the second trip out of the territory. Ethon successfully gets Rory, Ava, and Lux out of the pack territory and quickly goes back for Willia. As Ethon quickly sneaks Willia out to Rory, he is caught by Thalia. Thalia decides to help Ethon by buying him time to get Willia out of the pack before Titan catches on. Ethon successfuly gets Willia to Rory and covers Rory's (and her three pup's) tracks as they leave their territory.
Rory heads north towards Kotzebue, Alaska (her birth place), but stops halfway between White Mountain and Kotzebue because of her children's exhaustion. She makes/finds a den and settles down there to raise her three children, Willia, Lux, and Ava. Although she desperately misses Jimmy, she doesn't seek him out from her fear of Titan.
