History:Dakota was born in a breeder's house in Canada. He was taken away before he should be and was given to a police station where his father ranger worked. He stayed there for a while until he was sold to a man who lived in Nome.He grew up as a sled dog and was eager to enter races but was disheartened by Steele who said he was a terrible sled dog.Dakota was fixated on making Steele's words wrong so he trained hard and his first mock race came up.

At the race Dakota was doing well trying to keep the pace,he was sure Steele wasn't aeround incase he fell over or did something around but he was wrong.Steele was hiding waiting for Dakota to slip up and he did.He tripped over and fell.Steele being an evil guy spread the word around Nome.Dakota was down hearted and hid himself from Nome until he met Balto who told him that you'll always make mistakes so Dakota decided to enter a race against Steele and won.He laughed at Steele's face for days and soon was out and about again.
